The Zendo One asks a question I cannot possibly answer
Why Does Anyone Want to Live In NYC?
First we have a story of public transit in the Big Apple. Man stabbed in the head on NYC subway in one of two attacks 10 minutes apart
In the first assault, a 52-year-old man was riding a northbound No. 1 train around 2:20 a.m. when he got into a scuffle with a stranger at the 42nd Street-Times Square station, cops said.
The attacker — a man who cops described as having a dark complexion and wearing a white T-shirt — stabbed the victim four times in the head, authorities said.
He was taken to the hospital and is stable.
Then around 2:30 a.m., a 51-year-old man was knifed in the stomach by a man who snatched his wallet in front of 500 Fifth Avenue, a skyscraper located across from Bryant Park, near the West 42nd Street intersection, police said.
Also stable.
The next story highlights NYC’s need for common sense hammer control. Hammer-wielding maniac planned on ‘fighting’ NYC roommate before killing her and attacking kids, who are ‘likely to die’: prosecutors
It goes on, and on. I can not think of any reason to ever live in, or even visit frankly, New York City, and crime is just one of the reasons. Taxes, crowds, loud people, rushing everywhere, likely to go pay more taxes, regulations on top of regulations, loud people, Jets fans, Giants fans, Yankee fans, Mets fans, Rangers fans, Islander fans, Knick fans, Nets fans, and, also, New Joisey is right next door

Ahh! After I read the article, got some Context, it became apparent that what Actually happened was
