Comes from The Other McCain, who writes writes about the Soros-fellating flunky DA Alvin Bragg and porn star Stormy Daniels

The scholars and theologians assembled under royal commission to produce the official English translation we know as the King James Bible were working with Hebrew and Greek original texts, and when it came time to decide what word to use for women who have sex for money, settled on the word whore. If that word was good enough for the finest scholars of 1611, it’s good enough for me, but the folks at CNN have chosen the phrase “adult film actress” to describe Stormy Daniels, as if sleazy porn videos deserve to be classified as “film,” as if it is “adult” behavior to watch such sleazy videos, and as if acting was her claim to fame. Or infamy, to be more exact. The fact that Stormy Daniels (née Stephanie Clifford) is having her “15 minutes of fame” extended we owe to Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg, who was elected two years ago on a simple platform: Prosecute Trump. (We are not supposed to say “Soros-funded” in connection with Bragg, although he was in fact funded by Soros, because it’s anti-Semitic to call attention to this.)

Bragg has made it a policy not to prosecute crimes he deems “low-level offenses,” and crime has skyrocketed out of control in New York, but what Bragg does prosecute is the very serious crime alleged against Donald Trump: Paying a whore to shut up.

Frankly, I respect Daniels more than Bragg, and certainly more than Soros, and more than 99% of the Democrats, which is not saying a whole lot. Except maybe that I respect most people more than Democrats. Most people are not actively seeking the destruction of America, Democrats, well, that seems to be all they want to do.

Why yes, DeSantis is right about Ukraine/Russia

0 0
Read Time:54 Second

Some in the GOP are saying DeSantis is wrong about not getting involved in the Ukraine invasion. I do not buy their arguments frankly, not at all. Kurt Schlichter does not side with the either

Ron DeSantis came out against our current blank check n’ hack cliches Ukraine policy, stating the indisputable truth that Ukraine was not a vital US interest worthy of risking World War III with Russia. The next day he was proven right when a Russian SU-27 knocked a US Reaper drone into the Black Sea. Hey, feeding Russians (and Ukrainians) into a meat grinder is all fun and games until we get dragged into the abattoir too. Of course, all the right people got really mad about it – when Bill Kristol, Adam Kinzinger, David French, Max Boot and Mitt Romney are all for something, you need to be against it. Hardest hit was the GOP establishment – it was very sad because the governor refuses to be dragged along into cheerleading yet another massive foreign policy failure.

Lots more good reasons and common sense at the link.

Matt Hancock: Leaked messages suggest plan to frighten public
Matt Hancock suggested to an aide that they “frighten the pants off everyone” about Covid, messages published by the Sunday Telegraph show.

It appears the former health secretary discussed when to reveal the existence of the Kent variant of Covid to ensure people complied with lockdown rules.

In another exchange, the head of the Civil Service, Simon Case, suggested the “fear/guilt factor” was vital to the government’s messaging.

JK Rowling: The Witch Trials, The TERFs And The Playing Field

The fourth installment of The Witch Trials of JK Rowling begins with an innocent enough question-What is a TERF?

A TERF, according to this is “a person whose viewas on gender identity are considered hostile to transgender people, or who opposes social and political policies designed to be inclusive of transgender people”.

For many, after the year 2020, JK. Rowling was labeled as such. TERF used to stand for “Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminist”. But now, in 2023, addressing someone by the acronym, “TERF”, is synonymous with calling someone a witch. And, here we are.

NHL’S MINNESOTA WILD ACCUSED OF HOMOPHOBIA AFTER REFUSING TO WEAR PRIDE JERSEYS

The NHL’s Minnesota Wild were hounded by critics Tuesday night following a last-minute decision to ditch their Pride-themed jerseys for warm-ups.

After promoting their special warm-up jerseys for their Pride Night matchup against the Calgary Flames, Wild players appeared on the ice Tuesday without the jerseys and set off a number of people who called the retraction “homophobic.”

The decision to not wear the rainbow-colored jerseys was slammed as dismissive of the gay community, and Wild players were called bigots for their move.

News from Home: Another Antifa Riot, More Out-of-Towners Arrested

Antifa terrorists set fire to construction equipment at the site of a planned Atlanta police training facility Sunday, hurling rocks and fireworks at officers who responded to the riot scene. And this vandal horde of commies is almost entirely composed of outsiders:

Atlanta police identified 23 suspects charged with domestic terrorism after allegedly launching an attack against the construction site for a police and fire training facility dubbed “Cop City.”
The Atlanta Police Department revealed that all but two of the arrestees are from out of state. Another two are from out of the country.

Former Segregationist Bestie Joe Biden Has Thoughts On Race Relations
It is loathsome for the president to smear his political opponents as modern-day Bull Connors when he was the one who embraced segregation.

In a ceremony commemorating the 58th anniversary of Bloody Sunday in Selma, Alabama, Joe Biden depicted Republicans as modern segregationists while claiming to be of part of the civil rights movement. “I was a student up north in the civil rights movement,” the president said. “I remember feeling how guilty I was; I wasn’t here. How could we all be up there, and you going through what you went through.”

This never happened. Just as Biden never participated in any marches or sit-ins or boycotts and just as he was never arrested trying to march with Mandela and just as he never represented any Black Panthers in the 1960s. No president, none, has lied about his personal history as aggressively and blatantly as Joe Biden. This is stolen valor, not the muttering of a doddering man with an aging mind. It has always been his modus operandi.

So, what do the readers, yes, both of you, think of Vivek Ramaswamy

0 0
Read Time:3 Minute, 6 Second

19th Ward has some info on him

The healthcare and tech sector entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy’s nomination for the US Presidential election bid is another example of Indian Americans making a mark in the political arena, Sanjeev Joshipura, Indiaspora’s Executive Director said.

“Vivek Ramaswamy is not a conventional politician, to put it mildly. It will be interesting to see how America reacts to his candidacy,” Indiaspora’s Executive Director said.

“His jumping into the presidential fray is another example of Indian-Americans making a mark in the political arena. As the Indian diaspora becomes more established and integrated into American life, we have seen this trend steadily increasing across all levels of government. Our diaspora is civic-minded and wanted to engage in the nation’s public life,” he added.

Earlier, on Wednesday, Ramaswamy announced his 2024 US presidential election bid.

“We’ve celebrated our “diversity” so much that we forgot all the ways we’re really the same as Americans, bound by ideals that united a divided, headstrong group of people 250 years ago. I believe deep in my bones those ideals still exist. I’m running for President to revive them,” tweeted Ramaswamy in a video announcing his intention to run for president.

He reiterated that this was not just a political campaign, “but a cultural movement”.

“Faith, patriotism and hard work have disappeared. Wokeism, climate and gender ideology have replaced them. We hunger for purpose yet cannot answer what it means to be an American. We long for that answer,” he added.

37-year-old Vivek Ramaswamy is a native of southwest Ohio. His mother was a geriatric psychiatrist and his father worked as an engineer at General Electric.

“Diversity” is not our strength. Our strength is the set of ideals that unify us across our differences. Without that, “diversity” is meaningless,” said Ramaswamy.

“We live in a culture that rejects truth and embraces relativism; that rejects equality and embraces “equity”; that rejects excellence and embraces victimhood. I’m all-in for America First, but we must first rediscover what America is,” he added.

Ramaswamy was born on August 9, 1985, and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. His parents migrated to the US from Kerala.

He is the second Indian-American to enter the 2024 Republican presidential primary after Nikki Haley.

He is the fourth Indian-American ever to run for the White House –Bobby Jindal ran in 2016 and Vice President Kamala Harris in 2020.

He attended Harvard University for his undergrad and later got a law degree from Yale University.
Ramaswamy is the author of “Woke, Inc: Inside Corporate America’s Social Justice Scam” and has been dubbed “the CEO of Anti-Woke Inc” by The New Yorker.

Ramaswamy joins the Republican field following ex-US President Donald Trump and former South Carolina governor and former ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley’s presidential bid announcement.

A second-generation Indian American, Ramaswamy founded Roivant Sciences in 2014 and led the largest biotech IPOs of 2015 and 2016, eventually culminating in successful clinical trials in multiple disease areas that led to FDA-approved products, according to his bio.

He has founded other successful healthcare and technology companies, and in 2022, he launched Strive Asset Management, a new firm focused on restoring the voices of everyday citizens in the American economy by leading companies to focus on excellence over politics.

Ramaswamy is married to Apoorva Tewari Ramaswamy, an Assistant Professor at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Before entering the presidential ballot, Ramaswamy and Haley have to win the Republican Party’s presidential primary which will start in January next year. The next US presidential election is scheduled to be held on November 5, 2024.

Get ready for the media Narrative about President Mumbles vs the Chinese spy balloon.

0 0
Read Time:1 Minute, 18 Second

The Other McCain can see the talking points now.

The first 20 minutes on Meet the Press will be devoted to praising Joe Biden’s courage — his steely-eyed resolve and decisiveness — in ordering the Air Force to shoot down this threat to America:

A U.S. military aircraft on Saturday downed the suspected Chinese surveillance balloon that had been floating over the United States for several days, according to a U.S. official and eyewitness videos circulating on social media.
The balloon was brought down just off the Atlantic Coast, near the Carolinas, shortly after the Federal Aviation Administration ordered ground stops for all flights in and out of Wilmington, N.C., Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Charleston, S.C. In a statement, the agency said the ground stop was to “support the Department of Defense in a national security effort.”
President Biden, when asked about the situation earlier Saturday, told reporters, “We’re gonna take care of it.”
The days-long ordeal has placed new strains on what was already a fraught relationship between world powers, leading the Biden administration on Friday to postpone a trip to Beijing by Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
The balloon was disclosed to the public on Thursday after appearing over Montana the day before, prompting a temporary stoppage of all flights out of the airport in Billings.

Decisive action Joe Biden! Shoot it down after it had floated over the whole damn nation? AFTER it had gathered whatever the Chi Coms found out what they wanted? Good Freaking Grief!

Yes, the left is still trying to destroy Justice Brett Kavanaugh

0 0
Read Time:1 Minute, 29 Second

And, the left will never stop, because Leftists are just bad, severely flawed people

A new documentary looks into the sexual misconduct allegations against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and raises questions about the depth of the FBI investigation in 2018.

“Justice,” from filmmaker Doug Liman, debuted Friday night at the Sundance Film Festival to a sold-out theater surrounded by armed guards.

The film, made under intense secrecy, focuses on allegations made by Kavanaugh’s Yale classmate Deborah Ramirez that were detailed in a New Yorker article in 2018. Ramirez alleged that at a gathering with friends when she was a freshman in 1983, Kavanaugh pulled down his pants and thrust his penis at her. Kavanaugh has denied those claims. “Justice” also plays a taped recording of a tip given to the FBI from another Yale classmate, Max Stier, that describes a similar incident that the FBI never investigated.

The Stier report was previously detailed in 2019 by New York Times reporters Robin Pogebrin and Kate Kelly as part of their book “The Education of Brett Kavanaugh: An Investigation.” But the details of it came under scrutiny. After the story was posted online but before it was in the print edition, the Times revised the story to add that the book reported that the woman supposedly involved in the incident declined to be interviewed, and that her friends say she doesn’t recall the incident.

Yes, all the “evidence” against Kavanaugh was unsubstantiated, and all the “victims” only spoke out after Kavanaugh was nominated for the SCOTUS. I guess this film maker sees some personal gain be re-opening unproved allegations. And, I would wager the media gives him the attention he seeks. That is what the left does, wash….rinse…..repeat

Good start, now keep it up GOP!

Via Wyatt Earp

, I thought it would be prudent to mention this story, because it is the complete opposite of what the GOPe would normally do.

MAGA Rep. Lauren Boebert celebrated the first bill passed by the new GOP-controlled House, which would slash funding to the IRS and seeks to nix the hiring of over 87,000 new IRS employees over the next decade.

Representative Boebert noted the simplicity of the process involving the legislation.

The bill is rather simple, something Washington, D.C. could use right now.

“It’s two pages, not thousands. It has one subject and zero earmarks,” she said in a video posted to Twitter. “Oh, and it’ll help stop the harassment of the American citizens by prohibiting those 87,000 IRS agents from ever being hired.”

“That’s conservative governance at its finest,” the Colorado lawmaker added. “More freedom. Less government. And we are just getting started.”

Now, keep it up!
