In the thrilling submarine movie, The Hunt for Red October, the authority of Russian sub captain Sean Connery is challenged by the political officer whose job is to ensure that the sub is run in accordance with Soviet party ideology. The man’s interference becomes so aggravating that Connery’s character kills him. We are facing a similar threat from a mountain of diversity executives.
Employing significant numbers of diversity executives is all the rage. The average university, for example, now has 45.1 people dedicated to promoting diversity on campus. The University of Michigan has a whopping 163 diversity officers. That’s 2.3 diversity officers for every one member of its history faculty. Is it any wonder that college tuition has skyrocketed?
We have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents,” MSNBC’s Melissa Harris-Perry argued. “Educators love their students and know better than anyone what they need to learn and to thrive,” the NEA asserted. “Parents claim they have the right to shape their kids’ school curriculum. They don’t,” a Washington Post op-ed bluntly asserted.
A Minnesota bill now proposes to take children away from parents who don’t agree to have them sexually mutilated. Similar bills are working their way through other states.
Behind all the identity politics, the graphic sexual materials in classrooms, the covert gender swaps by public school administrators, critical race theory, drag shows and so much else is a showdown between the family and the state. It’s not a new confrontation, but teenage puberty blockers, suicides, sex and racism manuals have made the stakes painfully clear.
Now that it is clear that the systematic censorship of conservative voices is very real and has been largely directed and coordinated by the government itself behind the scenes, is there anything that can be done about that through litigation? There actually are some significant efforts under way in that regard. Probably the most important is the case titled Missouri v. Biden, pending in the Western District of Louisiana.
Prepare for a people’s revolution against policies that will abolish choice and impoverish millions I love my electric car, dear reader, I really do. The driving experience is revolutionary, the acceleration mind-blowing and there are no nasty exhaust fumes or engine noise. After almost three years, I’m not going back: it is far superior, for my purposes, to a petrol-powered vehicle. But I’m lucky. I can easily charge it and I never drive long distances with it. The Government’s plan to impose a UK-wide ban on the sale of new, pure petrol cars in just six years and nine months’ time is insanely detached from reality. The country and the technology are nowhere near ready for a full roll-out. Sticking with this preposterous timetable will impoverish and inconvenience millions and trigger a seismic, anti-green popular revolt.

This morning I switched my office TV to MSNBC — I watch, so you don’t have to — and it quite frankly ruined my whole day. After having watched coverage of the Nashville shooting on Fox News, the thought occurred to me, “Hey, I wonder what they’re saying about this over on Morning Joe?” Because when a transgender maniac slaughters six people (including three 9-year-old children) at a Christian school, you might think such an atrocity would give pause to liberals who’ve spend years claiming that “right-wing extremists” are the greatest threat to the nation.
But being a liberal in the media means never having to question your values, because you are surrounded by like-minded people, and are never challenged by anyone whose opinion makes any difference to your well-being. In fact, liberalism endows its advocates with carte blanche, a practically unlimited license to misbehave, so that Jeffrey Toobin can masturbate during a Zoom meeting with his CNN colleagues without damaging his career prospects. And if you work for MSNBC, you can say anything — anything at all — as long as you never forget that your main job is to blame Republicans for all evil in the world:
Tenured professors can be fired under new Florida board ruling
Stop WOKE Act laid groundwork for new regulations
Professors with poor performance ratings can be fired under a new post-tenure review process approved by Florida’s public university board on Wednesday.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and the Florida legislature laid the groundwork for the vote with the 2022 Individual Freedom Act, also known as the Stop WOKE Act, which permits Florida’s Board of Governors “to require tenured professors to undergo a ‘comprehensive post-tenure’ review every five years,” the Orlando Sentinelreported in November 2022.
Police chief reveals Nashville mass murderer had another target — and the significant reason why she didn’t follow through – TheBlaze
Mass murderers already feel like a failure. That is why they attack soft targets where the victims are undefended. RM
“We strongly believe there was going to be some other targets, including maybe family members, and one of the malls here in Nashville,” Drake told CBS News. “And that just did not happen.”
“Whether the mall was the location the perpetrator initially wanted to attack is not yet known. Malls are harder targets because many citizens are legally armed for self-protection. Just last month, a massacre was averted in El Paso when a teenager opened fire inside the mall. And last year, an armed citizen shot dead a person who opened fire inside an Indiana mall food court.
“Schools, on the other hand, are generally “soft targets,” where firearms are not permitted.”
This has obviously made the groomers very upset, like those at the Washington Post
Kentucky lawmakers passed a sweeping bill Wednesday that restricts how doctors and schools treat transgender youths, overriding the governor’s veto and forceful objections by state medical associations, education officials and parents with trans children.
The law — which sparked protests inside and outside the Capitol and takes effect this summer — bans access to gender-affirming health care for trans children, restricts which bathrooms and lockers they use, prohibits discussion of sexual orientation and gender identity in schools, and allows teachers to use students’ birth names and pronouns against their wishes.
Than Htwe, a 58-Year-Old Asian American woman, was walking with her son up the stairs of a Chinatown subway station when they were violently assaulted by a violent thug. Than, who had been on her way to a Buddhist temple, had her head smashed into the ground and died. The thug responsible got a mere 1-3 years in prison which effectively amounted to time served.
This has become typical under Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg.
Bragg’s office let a man accusing of raping a teenage girl go with 30 days and probation. A week before sentencing he went on a “sex-crime spree” attacking four different women. One woman stopped his attempt to rape her by hitting him on the head with a hammer: doing the job that the DA wouldn’t.
A gang member facing four grand larceny charges was set loose by Bragg’s pro-crime people before he mugged a 14-year-old boy.
