A recently amended California bill would add “affirming” the sexual transition of a child to the state’s standard for parental responsibility and child welfare—making any parent who doesn’t affirm transgenderism for their child guilty of abuse under California state law.

AB 957 passed California’s State Assembly on May 3, but a co-sponsor amended it after hours in California’s State Senate on June 6.

Assembly Member Lori Wilson, D-Suisun City, wrote the bill and introduced it on Feb. 14. State Sen. Scott Wiener, D-San Francisco, co-sponsored it. Wilson’s child identifies as transgender.

Originally, AB 957 required courts to consider whether a child’s parents were “gender-affirming” in custody cases. Wiener’s amendment completely rewrites California’s standard of child care.

AB 957 post-amendment “would include a parent’s affirmation of the child’s gender identity as part of the health, safety, and welfare of the child,” altering the definition and application of the entire California Family Code.

California courts would be given complete authority under Section 3011 of California’s Family Code to remove a child from his or her parents’ home if parents disapprove of LGBTQ+ ideology.

An Ivy League school has defied the woke activists who have been terrorizing conservatives into silence on college campuses across America for years and announced that “free expression” will be its featured theme next academic year.

On Monday, Cornell University, located in Ithaca, New York, announced that it had adopted “free expression” as its guiding theme for the 2023-24 academic year. “Free expression and academic freedom have always been core parts of Cornell’s institutional identity and essential to its founding,” the announcement stated. In order to facilitate more dialogue about the importance of free speech and peacefully grappling with controversial issues, the university will sponsor several events throughout the year, including guest lectures, community book readings, and artistic exhibits.

The latest example of teachers sexualizing their students get even more gross up in the state of Washington. Desert Hills Middle School in Kennewick decided to host a “licking game” where students and their teachers would lick each other on opposite sides of a panes of plexiglass.

A middle school principal is facing discipline for an inappropriate, “sexualized” licking game between students and staff.

Before students left for spring break, Desert Hills Middle School in Kennewick hosted an assembly and fundraiser that featured a competition between students and staff. Two plexiglass panes were stationed in the middle of the gymnasium and each side of the glass had four spots of marshmallow cream. Students and staff then competed to lick it off the plexiglass, often with adult educators and their minor students licking their respective sides of the glass at once. Students in the crowd could be heard screaming, “ew,” “disgusting,” “that’s so gross,” and “what the heck?” One student yelled, “who thought that this was a good idea?”

Could anything be more insane than the belief that Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk is some sort of right-wing extremist? He’s basically an Eisenhower Republican, definitely less conservative than, say, Ace of Spades, but reality doesn’t matter to California kids who have been taught that disagreement is “hate”:

Left-wing and LGBTQ activists at UC Davis were arrested after vandalizing university property on Tuesday during an event featuring Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. The incident came just hours after UC Davis chancellor Gary S. May declared Kirk a “proponent of hate” and encouraged students to “neutralize and negate” TPUSA’s influence on campus.
Protestors carrying banners that read, “Queers Bash Back,” and, “Bash Fash,” were seen on video smashing glass windows while police officers tried to fend them off.
Additional footage showed police outside taking down masked protesters who appeared to be carrying spray paint cans.
Police also clashed with banner-wielding protesters who were chanting, “fight back!” as they tried to advance toward the building where the Turning Point USA event was being held.
A UC Davis campus police spokesperson told Breitbart News that “two people were arrested after spray painting the outside of the building.”
“I’m not sure what the exact charges are, but that’s what they were doing,” the spokesperson said.
The police spokesperson added that he did not have information on the identities of the individuals who were arrested and that, so far, no arrests have been made in connection to the smashed glass windows on the university’s campus doors.
The left-wing and LGBTQ activists were also seen carrying banners that read, “Protect Trans Kids,” and, “Fascists Off Campus.”

See! Fake Outrage. They are obsessed with being victims, being angry, and re becoming more dangerous, because too many tolerate their behavior. As the Other McCain notes

Once you start kowtowing to these precious darlings with their pronouns and whatnot, you’re basically inviting anarchy and chaos because their entire existence is based on being offended by everything.

Another positive side is that students get extras that they never did before — like the opportunity to win sex toys playing bingo at the University of Vermont:

An investigation by Young America’s Foundation (YAF) revealed that student tuition dollars were used to pay for the event.

YAF also found that the board is comprised of “nearly 40 undergraduate students who are paid a stipend for their service.” …

[A] copy of the previous year’s bingo cards … included phrases such as “[F**k] me,” “Blow job,” “Jack off,” “Cum shot,” and “Spank me.”

An Ethics App at Clemson for students to “report” each other…..

College Fix has the story

Students at Clemson University can now anonymously report real or perceived misconduct by peers, faculty or staff with a single text.

The public, South Carolina-based institution recently announced it would become the first university to offer campus-wide the “RealResponse platform,” described as an “anonymous ethics reporting app” and a way to make the school “safe,” officials stated in a mid-October news release.

The Clemson Athletics Department has used it since 2016, and now it is being expanded to everyone; Clemson students, faculty and staff can use the system to anonymously text administration reports of “misconduct and integrity issues.”

“Students, faculty and staff can now send anonymous text tips, including photos and videos,” the university stated in the news release. “Activity on the platform is monitored by Clemson’s Office of Internal Auditing and the Office of University Compliance and Ethics.”

Some students expressed concern.

Some students expressed concerns? Some? In a sane society that would read the vast majority of students…….But, that would be a sane society, and tragically that is no longer a sane society.

Go read it all, this is not good not at all. Think how this empowers the “woke” faculty and students to target anyone behaving in a manner these Karen starter kits do not approve of.

Over at American Thinker Carole Hornsby Haynes looks at Generation Z, “The Purpose Generation”

Marketing expert Mark Beal from the Rutgers University School of Communication and Information believes there is still another factor in the election that is being overlooked: the impact of Generation Z. An expert on this group (born between 1997 and 2012), Beal says they will wield increasing influence on local, state, and national election outcomes.

This “purpose” generation is focused on environment issues and women’s rights. Aggressively programmed in diversity, inclusion, and equity, they support “corporations, brands, organizations and individuals running for office that have the ability, influence and power to contribute to a better world, nation and community.”

You might call this as the beginning of Generation Snowflake controlling the voting booths. Yes, I said controlling, not influencing.

Beal states that Gen Z through 2030 will constitute the majority of voters as the youngest members of the cohort turn 18. He believes they “will significantly influence future elections for many years.”

That means election after election controlled by Marxist trained idiots. And yes, they are fully indoctrinated

Gen Z naïvely believe the Marxist/Leninist propaganda that equity means equality for all rather than the central government forcing redistribution of property. Since public education glorifies socialism, these students have no idea that equity denies the right of ownership, including private property, earnings, and accumulated wealth. They are never taught that equity is the path to full blown communism. Nor would it matter if they were, since they are not told that communism is a failed political and economic system with a legacy of murder, torture, rape, hunger, and poverty. Instead, their Marxist universities–trained teachers preach that capitalism is evil, but socialism and communism are for the good of mankind.

Academic learning has been subverted by the race-based Marxist ideology of Critical Race Theory. Impressionable children are taught that our country is racist, whites are irredeemably racist, and the “principles of the liberal legal system are false promises.”

Great piece by Daniel Greenfield about a problem that should be getting the national media’s attention. SHOULD BE, BUT……..

During the Black Lives Matter riots, UC Berkeley Chancellor Carol Christ endorsed police defunding. “Elements of our country’s law enforcement culture dehumanize some of the very people whose safety and wellness police officers are sworn to protect,” she falsely claimed.

Two weeks ago, UC Berkeley called the police on a conservative truck protesting campus antisemitism and the “Jewish Free Zones” erected by elements of its law school.

Berkeley Law School Dean Erwin Chemerinsky had claimed that the university couldn’t take any action against the “Jewish Free Zones” enacted by student organizations even as he admitted that they would bar 90% of Jewish speakers. “That is their First Amendment right. I find their statement offensive, but they have the right to say it. To punish these student groups, or students, for their speech would clearly violate the Constitution,” he argued.

That was in early October.

In late October, Chemerinsky responded to a truck rented by a conservative group protesting the “Jewish Free Zone” by threatening that, “we’re exploring whether there’s any action that can be taken against the Accuracy in Media for the truck.”

According to Chemerinsky and Berkeley, banning Jews is free speech, protesting the ban isn’t.

Chemerinsky described the ban of 90% of Jewish speakers as merely “offensive”, but condemned a protest against it as “despicable” and “outrageous behavior.”

You can easily see where this is going. To Leftists, free speech is ONLY protected for leftists speakers, and, anti-Semites qualify for the approved status it would seem. As always, go read it all
