Climate Change Is Threatening Ketchup. AI Could Help Save It
Hold on to your Heinz. The latest looming food shortage is likely to include ketchup, coming hard on the heels of last yearβs potato chip crisis and runs on mustard (in France, at least). Three summersβ worth of unprecedented high heat in the worldβs key tomato-producing regionsβAustralia, Spain, and Californiaβs central valleyβhave led to a precipitous decline in tomato paste stocks, the key ingredient for ketchup and other condiments. California, which produces a quarter of the worldβs tomatoes, and 95% of the tomatoes used in U.S. canned goods, delivered nearly 5% less than the expected crop in 2021, and 10% less in 2022 due to the ongoing drought, according to the United States Department of Agriculture. Record-setting precipitation earlier this year helped with drought conditions, but it also flooded fields, forcing farmers to postpone planting, which could lead to reduced yields this year as well.
Itβs always some sort of doom with these people, and always your fault. You have to go to the 7th paragraph (and most are long ones) before AI comes into play

OH Chick-fil-A
ATLANTA β As his first act, Chick-fil-A’s new VP of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Erick McReynolds has revised company vocab guidelines, requiring white employees to move away from simple phrases like “my pleasure” and instead use preferred equitable language such as, “my privilege.”
VP McReynolds said of the change, “Chick-fil-A restaurants have long been recognized as a place where people know they will be treated well. So in the interest of fixing something that isn’t broken, we now require our privileged employees to express how they use their privilege to be allies to minorities by serving them great-tasting chicken sandwiches.”
“We are committed to ensuring mutual respect,” he continued. “We will do this by humiliating white people as often as possible.”

The Way They Say It Matters
The Supreme Court has a chance to make a strong defense of equality under the law in its upcoming affirmative action rulings.
Itβs springtime, so the U.S. Supreme Court is coming to the end of its term and releasing long-awaited decisions. Among the most interesting and consequential decisions should be the two affirmative action cases, in which Students for Fair Admissions, Inc. filed suit against both theΒ University of North CarolinaΒ andΒ Harvard. The cases are handled slightly differently because UNC is a public university while Harvard is a private college; nevertheless, because Harvard takes federal funding, the legal argumentsΒ are quite similar: The plaintiff argues that any race-conscious admissions policy discriminates against students from non-favored groups and violates both the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Yes, the Founding Fathers knew repeating firearms existed
It never fails. Someone talking about the Second Amendment will trot out the old comment, βIn the time of the Founding Fathers, all anyone had was a musket.β
There are a ton of ways to dispute this, including the fact that rifles existed, but the truth is that they were familiar with repeating firearms.
In fact, there were quite a lot of them. Not only that, but the Founding Fathers were smart men. They knew advancements would happen.
During the 19th century, firearms improved more than in any other century. As of 1800, most firearms were single-shot muzzleloading blackpowder flintlocks. By end of the century, semiautomatic pistols using detachable magazines with modern gunpowder and metallic cartridges were available. Would the Founders be surprised by the improvements in ability to exercise Second Amendment rights? Perhaps not, given the tremendous advances in firearms that had taken place before 1791. And certainly not, given that James Madison, author of the Second Amendment, initiated a federal government industrial with the specific aim of vastly improving the quality and quantity of firearms manufacture.

HITLERβS MULTICULTURAL SUPPORTERS
βThe world today needs a Hitler,β CNN correspondent Adeel Raja tweeted. Tala Halawa, the BBCβs βPalestinianβ specialist, had previously tweeted a rant that included #HitlerWasRight.
Researchers haveΒ found thatΒ the #HitlerWasRight hashtag was intertwined not just with the usual white supremacists, butΒ with moreΒ βprogressiveβ hashtags like #FreePalestine.
Raja, a Pakistani Muslim, and Halawa, who hails from Israelβs West Bank, donβt fit the image of what people think Hitlerβs fanbase looks like, but theyβre more typical than you might think.
During the latest conflict between Israel and Hamas terrorists, Pakistani celebrities and politicians praised Hitler.

Mob Assaults Marines in San Clemente
San Clemente, California β a staid, staunchly Republican city on the Pacific coast at the southernmost tip of Orange County. Many residents are civilian employees at USMCβs Camp Pendleton. It may shock, but it shouldnβt be surprising that an incident of unchecked mob violence broke out. Even Marines trying to enjoy a quiet evening at the beach are not immune from delinquents who feel public spaces belong to them.
Three US Marines were assaulted by a crowd of teenagers on Friday at a California beach, according to police.
One of the victims, Hunter Antonino, told KCAL-TV that the teenagers were acting aggressively and lighting firecrackers at the beach in the San Clemente Pier Bowl area and when he asked them to stop he was hit in the head with debris and the fight started.

Massachusetts Man Faces Prosecution For Defending Himself From Violent, Anti-Republican Attacker
By now, most Americans have heard ofΒ Daniel Penny, the Marine Corps veteran being charged byΒ Manhattanβs Democrat district attorneyΒ for defending his fellow citizens from an erratic Jordan Neely on the New York City subway. Thereβs also a good chance theyβve heard ofΒ Daniel Perry, the Army sergeant recently convicted in Austin, Texas, for protecting himself from an armed Black Lives Matter demonstrator.
On their own merits, both cases represent a seemingly growing trend of Democrat prosecutors allowing violent criminals to walk free while punishing law-abiding Americans for defending themselves from horrendous acts of violence. Case in point: Kevin Mackie, a Massachusetts resident charged for allegedly protecting himself from a violent, anti-Republican attacker.

FAT ASSES now a protected class
Via Moonbattery has the latest bit of idiocy from the left
Congratulations to the morbidly obese. New York City has bestowed upon them the most cherished of privileges; they are officially oppressed:
New York City Mayor Eric Adams signed a bill Friday declaring obesity a new legally protected class.
The oppressed are first hired, last fired, and go to the front of the line for goodies passed out by Big Government.
The legislation signed by the New York mayor bars individuals from being discriminated against for their height and weight for access to employment or public housing.
This is great news for white people who donβt like it at the bottom of the caste system, but who have too much self-respect to pretend to be homosexual. Now the racially and sexually incorrect can eat their way up the social ladder.
Airlines arenβt going to like where this is heading. Barks Adams:
βWe all deserve the same access to employment, housing, and public accommodations, regardless of our appearance.β
NOTHING BUT A PAID LIAR! A cheap, political whore, who gets slapped by girls
Once again, Liz Cheney is finding herself unpopular.
This time, the Bronx-style cheer happened in Colorado, at a college commencement, once again, among the wokesters of the left.
According to the Daily Mail:
Graduates booed and turned their chairs away from former U.S Rep. Liz Cheney as she delivered the commencement address at Colorado College on Sunday.
Cheney repeated her fierce criticisms of former President Trump but steered clear of talking about his 2024 reelection campaign or her own political future.
POOR POOR LIZ! All she had to do was to not go scorched earth on President Trump. She doesn’t have to like Trump, or his mouth. Frankly, I am not really happy with current iteration of President Trump. And some of his walk behinders who spend their days sucking up like lemmings and seemingly have no use for things like honesty can take along walk off a short pier for all I care. BUT, and it is a J-LO-sized but, you better bet your own behind I will work as best I can to get Trump elected if he becomes the nominee, because AMERICA FIRST!!! Not my “HOT TAKE” first, not hits on my blog or podcast first, not personal gain first, but AMERICA’s best interest FIRST!
People like Lying Liz care less about America than their own careers. That is a horrid path for someone like Cheney to take. But, she chose it, and millions of Americans know that Liz is LIZ FIRST! Despite my preference for DeSantis, I believe Trump is, deep down still America First. Really awful that Cheney isn’t. So Liz, enjoy the scorn, you richly earned it!
