The hypocrisy of Liz Cheney

0 0
Read Time:57 Second

Check this video and listen to Cheney’s preaching on purity

Now, here is some of what Cheney said

“I think they’re really indefensible decisions,” Cheney whined. “I think Governor Youngkin has done a good job as Governor of Virginia, but nobody should be out advocating for the election of people who will not honor the sanctity of our election process,” she added. “People who do that are in fact putting politics ahead of the constitution and ahead of the country.”

HMMMM, well, Cheney knows that siding with Democrats, and the socialistic ideas is not good or the country, she KNOWS this, yet, here she is. She, again, knows they do not give the first damn about our Constitution. In fact they treat Charmin better than our founding document YET, there she is, acting just like Democrats. Sorry, Liz, but you can spare us the devotion to the Constitution crap. You are a hypocrite, and a disgrace. Tell me, which is worse, patriots who have genuine concerns about election integrity, or bedding down with those who cannot trample the Constitution fast enough?

Over at Flopping Aces, Dr.bJohn points out some quotes from Liz “Savior” Cheney

Liz Cheney is a grifter. In her recent concession speech she said she’d work to keep Trump from being reelected:

“I will do everything I can to ensure that the former president never again gets anywhere near the Oval Office.”

That may sound familiar to you. Very familiar. In 2016 she said this about Hillary Clinton:

“…we’ve gotta do everything possible to make sure they never get anywhere near the Oval Office.”

Go read what else Lying Liz Cheney said about Hillary. HMMMMM

Liz Cheney vows to crush any Republican that denies election issues in 2020

0 0
Read Time:1 Minute, 6 Second

OK then. “Look at Me” Liz.

WASHINGTON, Aug 21 (Reuters) – U.S. Representative Liz Cheney vowed on Sunday to oppose Republican candidates who back former President Donald Trump’s falsehoods about a stolen 2020 election and declared Senators Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley “unfit” for office after they voted to overturn the presidential results.

Cheney, who is Trump’s leading critic and vice chair of the congressional committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol by his supporters, told ABC’s “This Week” that a broad movement of election denial could undermine the U.S. constitutional order if left unchecked.

I mean you have ALL the power after getting what 25 people to vote for you in Wyoming? I mean you did manage to get daddy to endorse you, so you are like THE influencer right now. I am sure after all of this, you can get a gig on MSNBS and feed the paranoid folks that watch that network. Maybe Morning Joe can find a place for you, I mean why should Mika Brezinski be the only dumb blonde on that train wreck of a show. And, Liz, let’s be honest, Liz. Rep Hawley, and Senator Cruz are likely very happy you will not endorse them. Hell, every Republican is praying you will declare them UNFIT!

Liz “Look at Me!” Cheney Rips Kevin McCarthy

0 0
Read Time:54 Second

Liz REALLY, REALLY wants you to know that she is running for President.

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) said in an interview aired Friday that she did not think House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) should be Speaker of the House, saying he had been “unfaithful to the Constitution.”

“My views about Kevin McCarthy are very clear. [The] Speaker of the House is the second in line for the presidency. It requires somebody who understands and recognizes their duty, their oath, their obligation,” Cheney told ABC News’ Jonathan Karl in an interview on “This Week” when asked if the country would be better or worse off if McCarthy was the next House Speaker.

“And he’s been completely unfaithful to the Constitution and demonstrated a total lack of understanding of the significance and the importance of the role of Speaker, so I don’t believe he should be Speaker of the House. And I think that’s been very clear.”

No word if she was wearing her Lincoln hat, or chomping a cigar like General Grant while being interviewed

Wondering when the media will start recommending a Purple Heart for their new “hero” Liz Cheney?

0 0
Read Time:1 Minute, 48 Second

Well, until she is no longer an asset I suppose, Cheney has bought herself some fawning from the media. Zendo Deb notes that the media has found their favorite toy

The lament begins. (Wailing and gnashing of teeth? Probably not that bad.) Rep. Liz Cheney loses her primary in Wyoming to Trump-backed challenger

The media always loves a Republican loser. They love them better when they lose to Democrats, but they take what they can get.

Cheney was first elected to the House seat her father once held in 2016, and she was immediately tagged a rising star because of her background — both her father’s legacy and her experience as a senior State Department official — and her ability to deliver political messages forcefully and succinctly.

If it was any deeper, I would need hip waders just to read the article. And this is not the worst of the few I glanced at.

Of course they love her. She hates Trump, and that is enough for now.

Exactly. Look at Me Liz is getting her publicity, and I am sure book deals, and big money speaking engagements will make Liz richer and richer. And the media will be all abuzz when Cheney announces her presidential run. They will trot out poll after poll, and talking heads by the dozen to praise the “courage” and “perseverance” of Cheney. They will give her such sympathy and maybe shed some fake tears that poor Liz was abandoned b her party because TRUMP! TRUMP ruins everything! Of course there is one question no one can answer. Would “LOOK AT ME” Liz pick Adam “Give me a Kleenex” Kinzinger as a running mate? Would he cry when asked? OK, we know he would cry, like a baby, he might even do snot bubbles. Team Lizinger would be born, and electoral disaster would follow.

Of course were Hell to freeze over twice, and Cheney actually became the GOP nominee, the media would still fawn over her, until she was the nominee. Then they would savage her, her father, the Bush family, and everything else GOP. Does Liz Cheney care? Naw because publicity, and $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

The language of the Left, mistruths, distortion, and lies

0 0
Read Time:1 Minute, 55 Second

Mike McDaniel, writing aboutLook at MeLiz Cheney, lays out some very harsh truth about Democrats and their vision of “democracy

One thing D/S/Cs have unquestionably mastered is deception through theft of the language.  Thus are they always seeking just the right “messaging,” which is best described as “the right words to trick the rubes.”  As with all else, they do this in lockstep.  Their policies cannot possibly be wrong, so when they are, it must be faulty messaging, among other things.  The newest phrase or pronoun is disseminated, and they all use it.  Thus they, with very few exceptions, always speak of America as a “democracy” or “our democracy,” never as the constitutional, representative republic  it is.  Article IV, Section 4 of the Constitution states in part:

The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government…

This is not semantic nitpicking—far from it.  The “democracy” of which they speak, which they desperately want, is a form of democracy: a tyranny of the majority, in which 50.000001% of the people exercise absolute power.  They can deprive the minority of property, liberty, even life.  It’s a dictatorship, but with at least one more or less honest election.  Thereafter, the majority will hold elections in the style of Russia, Iran, North Korea or China, and their majority will only, inexorably, increase.

This is precisely the kind of government the Founders rejected in the Constitution, because they knew it for what it is.  This is why we have a representative republic, as Benjamin Franklin said “if you can keep it.”  When D/S/Cs–and I include Liz Cheney among them because she has placed herself among them and labored for their cause—speak of “our democracy,” rather than “our republic,” they’re not merely exercising variety in terms.  They mean it, and Cheney virtually always speaks of “our democracy.”

Go read the whole piece, but I really wanted to accentuate that portion of McDaniel’s piece. The terms “democracy” has virtually replaced “republic” in the lexicon of the media, among politicians, and it is dangerous, because there is a huge difference between the two forms of government.

Now, go read the rest of McDaniel’s piece, great stuff

Mike McDaniel really does not like Liz Cheney

0 0
Read Time:42 Second

And, it shows, and good for Mike McDaniel

Her truthfulness and credibility, not so much.  This is classic Cheney.  She’s a “constitutional conservative,” but she doesn’t know conservatives—normal Americans—do not despise men.  They see them, like women, as integral parts of God’s plan, each with their own complimentary strengths.  Cheney is defending the Constitution by trying to pretend executive privilege doesn’t exist.  She might want to chat with her dad about that.  And how are things for the January 6 Committee Stalinist soap opera going?

Go read it all. Cheney is looking out for Cheney. Maybe she wants to switch parties and replace Biden on the 2024 Democratic ticket. Who knows, but I know she has pissed away any credibility she ever had. She has exposed herself as another power grabber, nothing more.

Diogenes: Remember that short Clinton flunky jerk Robert Reich?

0 0
Read Time:36 Second

Well, he thinks he has a great candidate for president. And it IS a woman, a Conserva, Republi not a Democrat. Guess who? Go on, guess…….

Via Robert Reich’s Substack

“I trust Joe Biden’s steadiness and judgment, and if he runs again, I’ll probably back him in 2024. But today I want to suggest someone who isn’t even a Democrat, and whose positions on many issues I (and I suspect you) strongly disagree with — but who could possibly be the best president of the United States for the perilous time we’re entering.

I’m referring to Liz Cheney.

Well, Liz has been front and center doing everything she can to get noticed, so no surprise
