Great piece at American Thinker about the lefts desire to control your kids

Beginning with Lenin, all totalitarian takeovers have involved co-opting children and breaking them away from their families. We’re seeing this with a vengeance in the medical field, where children as young as 12 can make unilateral medical decisions—including destroying their bodies with dangerous hormones and mutilating surgery.

Vladimir Lenin, who formed the Soviet government in 1917, was quite explicit about the importance of children to the cause. “Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.” The core of Hitler’s growing cultural takeover during the 1930s was the Hitler Youth organization, which skillfully taught children to ally themselves with the state and against their parents. During the Iran-Iraq war, the mullahs outfitted children with cheap trinkets that they were promised were keys to heaven and then sent them out to do battle against hardened Iraqi troops. As Mussolini said, “Everything in the State, nothing outside the State, nothing against the State,” and totalitarians have applied that rule to children too.

What does this have to do with children and healthcare? A little explanation may help.

Go read it all folks, this is as serious a threat t America as exists today.

Question: If every student will pass, even if they skip classes all year, what is he point of school?

Administrators at a Queens high school are demanding that teachers pass undeserving students – including some they’ve never even seen, fed-up educators told The Post.

The teachers at William Cullen Bryant High School in Long Island City say the pressure comes as the school year is about to end and they are asked to promote students who have skipped classes and done little or no work.

“I have gotten numerous complaints from teachers that they feel forced to promote students they do not think should be promoted,” Georgia Lignou, a Bryant HS teacher and UFT chapter leader wrote last week in a letter to Principal Namita Dwarka and other faculty members. The Post obtained a copy.

Yeonmi Park escaped from North Korea at age 13, so she recognizes what has been going on in our government schools:

Moonbattery lays out some fact that illustrate just how much the Stalinist Left wants you to shut your yap!

In the West, we used to enjoy being able to speak our minds. Now we have cancel culture. Unless we share the pernicious and depraved ideology of the ruling class, we either keep our mouths shut or recite lies, lest our lives be destroyed by woke lynch mobs. This is for the best, according to academia:

“Cancel culture” has its benefits, according to an online anti-racism course being taught to over 100 British academics.

“Union Black,” a class being taught by The Open University, teaches professors that “In relation to racial/social justice, cancel culture has been shown to realize benefits.”

What else would you expect of the “Open” University in the land of George Orwell?

These benefits, according to class materials, include “holding people or entities accountable for immoral or unacceptable behavior” and “promoting collective action to achieve social justice and cultural change through social pressure.”

In other words speech codes. Not through legislation, yet, but the hope for the left, is that more and more and more people learn to self-silence. Allow me to remind everyone that self-silencing, is still evil. The only difference is that you are willing to shackle yourself.

For God’s sake Conservatives STOP SAYING “our democracy”

What WOULD James Madison say?

The senile fool Biden, in another of his characteristic rambling, incoherent speeches this week, repeatedly lauded “our democracy” as if that’s actually what this country is, the original system of government the Founders set up for their posterity. T’ain’t so, McGee; any poor sod with even the most niggardly dollop of historical literacy in his gift knows better than that. Eric Peters last year posted a collection of quotes condemning democracy in the most virulent terms from our blessed ancestors, which one of his handlers/wardens/keepers should consider reading to the stumblebum ***”president”*** sometime so as to enlighten his stupid ass. After the quotes, Eric provides some commentary of his own, interspersed with more historical context.

In light of the Founders’ view on the subject of republics and democracies, it is not surprising that the Constitution does not contain the word “democracy,” but does mandate: “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a republican form of government.”

These principles were once widely understood. In the 19th century, many of the great leaders, both in America and abroad, stood in agreement with the Founding Fathers. John Marshall, chief justice of the Supreme Court from 1801 to 1835 echoed the sentiments of Fisher Ames. “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos,” he wrote. American poet James Russell Lowell warned that “democracy gives every man the right to be his own oppressor.” Lowell was joined in his disdain for democracy by Ralph Waldo Emerson, who remarked that “democracy becomes a government of bullies tempered by editors.” Across the Atlantic, British statesman Thomas Babington Macauly agreed with the Americans. “I have long been convinced,” he said, “that institutions purely democratic must, sooner or later, destroy liberty or civilization, or both.” Britons Benjamin Disraeli and Herbert Spencer would certainly agree with their countryman, Lord Acton, who wrote: “The one prevailing evil of democracy is the tyranny of the majority, or rather that party, not always the majority, that succeeds, by force or fraud, in carrying elections.”

Go read it all. Absolutely drives me nuts when Conservatives call America a democracy!

The National Park Service announced last week that Yellowstone National Park’s Mount Doane would be renamed First Peoples Mountain. The agency said Thursday the change was taken to remove an “offensive name” from America’s first national park.The US Board on Geographic Names voted unanimously, 15-0, affirming the decision. The Wyoming mountain stands at 10,551 feet east of Yellowstone Lake. The mountain was previously named after explorer Gustavus Doane.

Ohio passes law to arm teachers. The Left freaks out

Why does the left hate the very idea of having safer schools? The hate enhanced security, because they do not want their children to see police (it is RAAAAACIST), they do not want more secure entrances because that makes schools into “prisons” apparently. AND armed security? Oh of course not because GUNS BAD! Consider this screed from The Root, America’s most racist publication

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine has signed a law making it easier for teachers to carry firearms in the classroom, according to NBC News. A bipartisan group of Senators has recently said they have reached a framework deal around some forms of gun safety involving ‘red flag’ laws and investments in school-based mental health programs. Some advocates don’t think the measures go far enough, but states like Ohio are determined to go a completely different (potentially dangerous) way.

SEE, DANGEROUS!!!! Of, course, in reality, no, not dangerous, well except for bad people. But, back to the panic porn from the Root! And, OF COURSE, one more reference to Racistly Racist Racism!

Previously, teachers would need over 700 hours of training to have a gun on school grounds. Ohio’s new law drops that requirement down for teachers and staff only to require 24 hours of training. They will also only need to complete up to eight hours of continuing education each year. This move will also add to the anxieties of Black and students of color who have expressed their reservations about having more armed police at schools.

OK, this is the Root. The folks over there scream RAAAAACISM when the wind blows, when it rains, when it is sunny, when they eat ice cream, and, well you get the idea. But, let us look at how many armed teachers have killed students because they snapped, or were careless.

I just spent several minutes looking through Google results. Most of what I found were, of course, anti-gun op-eds, or how teachers unions were opposed to arming teachers who choose to be armed. I also did not find one case of an armed teacher harming innocent students. HMMMMMM I would bet that if those stories were out there Google would have those at the top of results. Again, HMMMM

Then there is this

A teacher checking on kids on a Utah school playground spotted a 41-year-old intruder grab an 11-year-old girl Tuesday, police say. The teacher dashed outside and shouted at the man, giving the girl a chance to break away, and all the children outside ran into a classroom, the Ogden City Police Department reported. But the intruder, identified by police as Ira Cox-Berry, began punching a classroom window, prompting the teacher to draw a gun and hold him at bay until officers arrived, officials said.

The pro-left bias in searching the internet is horrid frankly. BUT, knowing that bias is there, shows that the non-existence of search results for armed teachers hurting students shows that such dire predictions from the Cult of Gun Control are not true

Wichita State mascot commits MASSIVE Micro-Aggression……..

The mascot for Wichita State University was photographed waving a “thin blue line” flag at a police charity function earlier this month, angering many students and community members.

According to The Sunflower, the mascot “WuShock” held the flag while participating in a Wichita Police Foundation event on June 2. The celebration also featured the popular Budweiser Clydesdales.

After the photo of WuShock holding the flag was posted to the Wichita Police Department Facebook page, many comments blasted the mascot’s participation.

“Do you know what that blue line represents! It symbolizes hate and racism!” one commenter wrote. Another said the police and Wichita State are “both comfortable with blatantly desecrating the American flag.”

Oh shut up! Whiny little pecker heads! Hit the FB link and feel the hate, ignorance, idiocy, anger, fake outrage, and so on!
