Kylee Zempel looks at the left’s abominable morality and disconnect from reality

As the country reels over the Texas massacre, where 19 children and two adults were gunned down by a single shooter who was barely more than a child himself, the question on everyone’s mind is why? Why would any person march into an elementary school and open fire on innocents? And why can’t we overcome such evil?

“Why are we willing to live with this carnage?” President Joe Biden asked. “Why do we keep letting this happen? Where in God’s name is our backbone to have the courage to deal with it?”

Moral absolutism from the left. Guns can be used to kill, so, they are evil. This is moral “high ground” the left insists they alone own. This is the face they show. But, they have another face on life, killing, babies observe

Amid the Texas news updates and hot takes, a stomach-churning TikTok made the rounds on Twitter. In it, a young, pro-abortion mother cradles her infant and says in a sing-song voice to the child, “Hi, I could have killed you, but I chose to let you live,” then likening the killing of babies in utero to killing germs with hand sanitizer.

“Yes, I realize what I just said, and I stand by it,” she concludes.

Legal Insurrection, a very solid source has the story

The letter that allegedly prompted Attorney General Merrick Garland to declare parents “domestic terrorists” and to direct the FBI to investigate, harass, and intimidate ordinary American parents into silence was ridiculous on its face, and the Biden DOJ reacted abominably. Or so it seemed, but as we soon learned, the Biden administration was agitating for the NSBA to compose the letter and to demand federal intervention so that they could stomp out any dissent among the great unwashed

And the horrific abuse of power and plans for the tyrannical treatment of American citizens on American soil don’t stop there. An internal review reportedly found that that NSBA was planning to request that the National Guard and military police be sent to school districts in which parents were protesting the racist indoctrination, harmful covid policies, school closures, and a host of other travesties inflicted upon our nation’s children.

The National School Boards Association planned to ask the Biden administration to deploy the Army National Guard and military police to school districts beset by parent protests over policies including mandatory masking and the teaching of critical race theory, an internal review has found.

The stunning request was included in a draft letter to the president from September of last year, but was ultimately removed from the final version by the NSBA’s then-CEO Chip Slaven, according to a report from Milwaukee-based law firm Michael Best & Friedrich LLP.

The letter that was ultimately sent, on Sept. 29, was signed by Slaven and then-president Viola Garcia and argued that verbal confrontations and other incidents at local school board meetings across the US constituted “acts of malice, violence, and threats against public school officials.”

Social Justice Moral idiocy anyone?

After hearing a prosecutor detail the allegations against a man who was being charged with misdemeanor criminal trespass to a vehicle on Thursday morning, Cook County Judge Barbara Dawkins was curious.

“Is there a reason this defendant is coming though misdemeanor bond court as opposed to felony bond court?” she asked.

An assistant state’s attorney told her that the Cook County State’s Attorney’s felony review office had “rejected” carjacking charges.

“The facts of this case sound much more like an aggravated vehicular hijacking than a criminal trespass to motor vehicle,” Dawkins said later. “Nonetheless, we’re here in misdemeanor bond court.”

The defendant in the case is Trevale Robinson, 32. And, no, in, fact this is NOT the first incidents of violent behavior he has taken part in. I know, stunning right?

He’s currently on parole for a pair of nine-year sentences he received for two counts of home invasion causing injury in 2016. He previously received a 10-year sentence for carjacking in 2009 and a 7-year sentence for narcotics distribution that same year.

Exit question. Why are the same Democrats screeching about guns not screaming about coddling violent FELONS? Where is their OUTRAGE? I think we know why the Selective Outrage Syndrome

Leftists/Marxists/Communists, have a long, long record of lying, or, if you prefer, spreading the propaganda on thick heavy. The fact is if a Leftists lips are moving, they are, in fact LYING! Our president, like all Leftists right now, is lying as fast as he can about guns, self-defense, gun owners, gun makers, and so on. Robert Stacy McCain takes a look at, Biden, lies, the left, and so on.

There are millions — literally millions — of AR-15-type rifles legally owned by law-abiding American citizens who have never shot another human being. The fact that Salvador Ramos owned two of them cannot be interpreted as signifying that everybody who owns an AR-15 is a menace to society, because if you want to engage in irresponsible generalization like that, I could think of some other generalizations relevant to violent crime that no sensible politician would dare invoke.

Biden’s rhetoric is dishonest, not only in its details, but in the larger sense of the false implication that it is a “lobby” or an “industry” that he desires to crush with regulations — no, it’s gun owners he’s after.

Those of us old enough to remember the dishonesty by which Democrats rammed the 1994 “assault weapons ban” through Congress know all of this. There was no actual crisis that demanded such onerous regulations which, in point of fact, did not “ban” any weapons (i.e., those guns that were already owned remained legal, but importation and domestic retail sales were prohibited), and made purely aesthetic distinctions between “banned” weapons and others that were functionally identical. By the way, these were semi-automatic rifles, not “assault weapons,” which are fully automatic, commonly referred to as “machine guns.”

Go read the whole thing. The rhetoric the left has been beating to death, for decades now about guns is a tissue of lies, scare tactics, and rhetoric designed to demonize guns, gun owners, gun makers. They always rant about “DOING SOMETHING!!” But, everything they are calling to be done do nothing to fix anything. Think of all the laws a school shooter breaks to carry out their evil act. Yet, we are told that the we need more laws. These new laws, of course will be broken by evil doers as well. That is useless, well unless stopping violent felons is not the goal. The target of these “common sense laws” are, in fact lawful gun owners. And that, is not by accident.

Tens of millions of Americans carry firearms lawfully daily. And do zero harm. Millions and millions or AR-15’s are legally owned, and are not used to do any harm. There are I am told more that 400 million privately owned firearms in America. If guns “caused” violent crimes, we would all have been shot by now. And, yes, firearms are used in self-defense over 1 million times per year. The problem is not, and never has been guns. Democrats are lying to America, AGAIN!

Before we even knew how the killer of 19 children and two adults at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, had obtained his guns, Chris Murphy was engaging in his customary performative emotionalism on the Senate floor, literally begging Republicans to “compromise.”

Compromise on what exactly? Murphy has never once offered a single proposal that would have deterred any of these mass shooters. Literally minutes after his routine, Murphy was asked about the obvious mental illness prevalent among most of these shooters. “Spare me the bullsh-t about mental illness,” the Connecticut senator responded, “ripping” the GOP. “We don’t have any more mental illness than any other country in the world.” That’s how serious he is about compromise

Whether America is more prone to mental illness or not, these incidents are almost exclusively perpetrated by young men who have exhibited serious anti-social behavior. All of them break a slew of existing laws. All of them have either obtained guns illegally, or legally before having any criminal record. In many, if not most, cases, the shooter is already on the cops’ radar because he has threatened others or written insane, violent manifestos. In a study of mass shootings from 2008 to 2017, the Secret Service found that “100 percent of perpetrators showed concerning behaviors, and in 77 percent of shootings, at least one person – most often a peer – knew about their plan.”

Rather than focusing on these tangible entry points for potentially useful legislation, instead of proposing ideas on better identifying shooters before they act, instead of thinking about how schools could be structurally safer, instead of debating the efficacy of putting more cops in schools — and none of these are panaceas, mind you — Senate Democrats were busy dunking on Republicans for failing to support bills that have absolutely zero to do with mass shootings.

Go read it all, excellent piece which calls Sen. Murphy out for his fake outrage. Everyone knows Murphy wants an issue, not a solution.

This woman is disturbed. Either she believes the garbage she spews, which would make her insane. OR she will literally say anything with not the first care or thought of the insanity she belches out.

“They are happening because of uniquely American politics. They are happening because 327 million Americans are essentially hostages to a morally and financially bankrupt gun lobby and the heartless, gutless politicians that they buy and own,” Reid huffed. 

Proving that she is the vilest person on cable news, Reid begged Americans to “please stop thinking that there is some body count, some level of brutality and carnage that will move them, these Republicans and their two pet Democrats, that the rivers of blood will one day run deep enough.” 

She added that “their tolerance for blood and the NRA’s tolerance for slaughter are bottomless.” 

Later on, during her interview with radical anti-gun Parkland parent Fred Guttenberg, Reid doubled down on her dangerous rhetoric. Reid referred to conservatives as “ghouls” and smeared Texas Governor Greg Abbott claiming that “there is no amount of blood and carnage that’s gonna move” him to support gun control. 

Of course, people like Governor Abbott deal in reality. Laws, are clearly not going to prevent such evil deeds. Why have most of the mass shootings happened in “gun-free” zones? Joy Reid does not care, she has an agenda and that, to her, is all that matters

When tragedy hits, the country needs a leader, to pull us together. The opposite of a leader has been installed in the White House. Disgustingly, Biden immediately exploited yesterday’s shootings in Uvalde as an opportunity to climb atop children’s corpses and stridently attack the Constitution:

Biden passionately called on Congress to pass gun control legislation and urged the country to “stand up to the gun lobby” Tuesday, just hours after a gunman killed 18 children and multiple adults at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas.

The body count is now up to 19 children, two adults.

Shrieked the Great Unifier:

“When in God’s name are we going to stand up to the gun lobby? When in God’s name are we going to do what we all know in our gut needs to be done?”

His teleprompter programmers laid on the rhetoric thick and heavy:

“Why are we willing to live with this carnage?”

Absolutely shameful! Sadly, a lot of people are stupid enough to actually blame a gun, rather than the piece of trash pulling the trigger. And, frankly, if you check out the Tweets from many of these folks, you will no doubt note that they are literally unstable.
