The first pistol I bought for myself, was a Colt 1911. It was the gun I used in 1998 to ward off a thug wearing a ski mask, and pulling a pistol from his pocket. He meant to rob me, maybe I would not have survived if I had been unarmed. But, because I understood that a restaurant manager leaving late at night was a target for miscreants, I was, and, let me say, for what is likely the 10,000th time THANK YOU LORD!
