Why does society allow miscreants to behave like this?

MRC TV has the latest attack on priceless art by punks who claim to be protesting when, in fact, they are just behaving like lawless, entitled thugs. Why are these miscreants allowed to pull such stunts? Where are the consequences for behavior like this?

So, where is security? Where are the men with sticks to clock these malcontented little shit stains? You see, for negative, destructive actions to be strongly discouraged, negative consequences need to be in place. If not, these actions will grow more common, and more destructive. Why does common sense seem so tough for some to fathom?
