So, dialysis called today, they were calling EMS for my mom, who had developed chills, a fever, and vomiting. So, from about12 to 4 PM, I was sitting in the emergency room, and am now home, for a bit, had to pick up our groceries at 4. I am waiting or the doctor to decide A what is wrong, (she seems fine now) and B, if she will have to be in the hospital for a day or two.
UPDATE!! Apparently it is a leg infection, know more tomorrow.
UPDATE!!! OK, it is an infection, they are not sure where it came from, maybe from food they say, still testing. They are thinking of changing her catheter for dialysis and still testing to find a specific type of bacteria from my understanding. And she is getting fussy with the nurses, she HATES hospitals, not sure how to change that. But, she is having some physical therapy, and then they were going to take her to dialysis. So, she should sleep well tonight anyway.
At least it sounds like it’s better than it was.
