I expected a tough contest with the Utah Utes, and, I was right, back and forth game, and, a late TD by QB Anthony Richardson, who ran for three TD’s and looked very much a team leader. And, finally, after Utah looked to have the game, a pick by linebacker Amari Burney, at the goal line sealed a nail biter!!

GAINESVILLE — Florida Gators coach Billy Napier spent the offseason trying to lessen the pressure and hype on star quarterback Anthony Richardson.
Good luck doing that after Saturday night’s showing against Utah.
Richardson dazzled with three touchdown rushes, an unbelievable two-point conversion attempt and a daring fourth-down conversion and the game-winning score in the Gators’ 29-26 upset of No. 7 Utah in Napier’s debut.
Huge win, like what I saw. Defense needs to get a bit grittier, and definitely pass rushing is a must improve area. Offensive line played well, running backs are talented, and the receiving corps looks good. Richardson might prove to be very, very, special. Overall offense looked like it might be very dangerous. Tough schedule ahead. Good win, now next opponent up Kentucky, in the Swamp.
Now some highlights!
The two-point conversion play, DAMN!
Great game, great start for Billy Napier! Chomp, chomp!
