President Mumbles and his damn lies about AR-15 rifles

Read Time:6 Minute, 30 Second

Ah the Left lies, we all know that, and they lie about firearms at a staggering pace. And the AR-15? Oh, they Cult of Gun Control tells lies about that rifle that are so grotesque as to be laughable. Except, their intentions is not funny, it is evil. Some gaffes lies that President Biden spewed yesterday are absolutely so atrocious that no one should buy them, but, the Cult, well, thinking is not their style.

“Do you realize the bullet out of an AR-15 travels five times as rapidly as a bullet shot out of any other gun?” Biden asked rhetorically during his speech.

Face Palm Hall of Fame stuff there. Consider that

A June study by hunting gear retailer Field and Stream looked at the fastest rifle cartridges – and AR-15 rounds did not make their list.

Biden also said this

Biden also claimed that “AR-15s just rips the body apart,” which is also inaccurate. Damage from a gunshot depends on the type of bullets used.

Good Freaking Grief! Who could actually believe such hogwash? Well, the mouth breathing, knuckle dragging Cult of Gun Control of course But, Old Lying Joe was not done!

Biden also ridiculed Second Amendment advocates in the Tuesday speech, sarcastically calling them “brave” for believing guns are a tool for self-defense.

Well, President Mumbles, guess what THEY ARE! Hundreds of thousands, if not millions of Americans do use firearms for self defense annually. I should know, I have defended my life with a firearm. Numbers do not lie Mr. President. You, of course are a different story. And, unlike you Mr. President, I can back up my claim

But just how many defensive gun uses are there?

How often are firearms used defensively in the United States? According to the most-recent study, about 1.6 million times annually. Over a lifetime, about a third of gun owners will use a firearm defensively at least once. This recent data is broadly consistent with decades of social-science research.

The first pollster to ask about defensive gun use (DGU) was the Field Poll in California in 1976. Over the subsequent 18 years, polling companies such as Gallup, Hart and Tarrance, as well as scholars and media, conducted their own surveys of DGU. They reported results as low as 764,000 annually (Tarrance, 1994) and as high as 3.6 million (Los Angeles Times, 1994).

In 1993, Florida State University criminology professor Gary Kleck conducted a survey that was much more methodologically sophisticated than all the above polls. Kleck included safeguards designed to weed out respondents who might misdescribe a DGU story. Kleck and his coauthor Marc Gertz found a midpoint estimate of 2.5 million DGUs annually, with a possible range of 2 to 3 million. Their study is described in the Kleck and Gertz article, “Armed Resistance to Crime: The Prevalence and Nature of Self-Defense with a Gun,” in the Journal of Criminal Law & Criminology (1995), which is available on the web, and is further described in Kleck’s 1997 book Targeting Guns. The book and the article also examine all previous surveys.

Finally, the president had to drag this idiotic argument out

“For those brave right-wing Americans who say it’s all about keeping America independent and safe, if you want to fight against the country, you need an F-15,” Biden said mockingly. “You need something more than a gun.”

Oh Good Freaking Grief! No one from the NRA, or any other pro- gun rights group has ever said they want to fight against the government. They want their rights left unmolested, and, they know, as our Founders knew that government can grow to be an oppressive force. They had to fight the British to gain independence, and as the Founders wrote

“The best we can hope for concerning the people at large is that they be properly armed.” -Alexander Hamilton, The Federalist Papers p. 184-B.

“Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are ruined…The great object is that every man be armed. Everyone who is able might have a gun. -Patrick Henry.

“To preserve liberty it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them…” -Richard Henry Lee writing in Letters from the Federal Farmer to the Republic (1787-1788).

“The Constitution shall never be construed to authorize Congress to prevent the people of the United States, who are peaceable citizens, from keeping their own arms.” -Samuel Adams, debates & Proceedings in the Convention of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, 86-87.

“The people are not to be disarmed of their weapons. They are left in full possession of them.” -Zachariah Johnson, 3 Elliot, Debates at 646.

“The right of the people to keep and bear…arms shall not be infringed. A well regulated militia, composed of the body of the people, trained to arms, is the best and most natural defense of a free country … ” (James Madison, I Annals of Congress 434, June 8, 1789)

“A militia, when properly formed, are in fact the people themselves… and include all men capable of bearing arms. ” (Richard Henry Lee, Senator, First Congress, Additional Letters from the Federal Farmer (1788) at 169)

“…to disarm the people (is) the best and most effective way to enslave them… ” (George Mason, 3 Elliot, Debates at 380)

“Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American… The unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state government, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people ” (Tench Coxe, Pennsylvania Gazette, Feb. 20, 1788)

“The right of the people to keep and bear arms has been recognized by the General Government; but the best security of that right after all is, the military spirit, that taste for martial exercises, which has always distinguished the free citizens of these states…Such men form the best barrier to the liberties of America. ” (Gazette of the United States, October 14, 1789)

“The supposed quietude of a good man allures the ruffian; while on the other hand, arms like laws discourage and keep the invader and the plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property. The same balance would be preserved were all the world destitute of arms, for all would be alike; but since some will not, others dare not lay them aside… Horrid mischief would ensue were one half the world deprived the use of them… ” (Thomas Paine, I writings of Thomas Paine at 56 (1894))

“A free people ought…to be armed… ” (George Washington, speech of January 7, 1790 in the Boston Independent Chronicle, January 14, 1790)

“That the said Constitution shall never be construed to authorize Congress to infringe the just liberty of the press or the rights of conscience; or to prevent the people of The United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms… ” (Samuel Adams)[4]

“Laws that forbid the carrying of arms… disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes… Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.” – Thomas Jefferson, quoting Cesare Beccaria.

THERE Mr. President are the words of the men who made this nation! There is no doubt what the second amendment is about.
