Today it seems that everywhere you turn some little whiny person, who usually has REALLY weird hair and screams all the time, is ruining something good and enjoyable? Well, they are now ruining golf because……… wait for it……CLIMATE CATASTROPHE!!
Many European countries currently find themselves in a historic heatwave and drought. With temperatures rising and rain not falling some climate activists have taken to the golf course to send a message.
With water levels running low, some parts of France have implemented water bans. Residents in certain areas aren’t allowed to water their gardens or wash their cars, but golf courses are exempt from the water ban nationwide.
That decision didn’t sit well with a certain group of climate activists.
Some paid a visit to golf courses near the city of Toulouse and filled golf holes with cement. The activists stated that golf is the “leisure industry of the most privileged.”
Oh the “privileged”, they are such “bad people” or something. But if you really want to define “privilege” take a gander at the leftist “activists”. If life was fair, golfers would take their clubs and beat the snot out of the miscreants ruining the golf courses. And a LOT of other “activists” would risk great physical resistance to their thuggery. These activists are largely not well-intended. They are thugs and bullies who have found away to be thuggish, and bully people, and destroy property without ever paying any price.
