After an act of abhorrent evil, what are our “leaders” talking about?
Hardening schools? More security measures? NO!
Limited entries? Armed guards? NO!
Training and arming staff? NO!
Better training for police departments that will likely be the first on the scene? NO!
Are they, in fact doing anything except screaming for MORE gun control! Banning certain weapons! NO!
NO! NO! NO! They are, in fact, not doing anything, or even discussing any measures that would work! All they can do, seemingly is talk politics, and all for one reason. The midterm elections.
So, I must ask everyone just one thing. Why are WE, the people, NOT demanding better? All we can do, it seems, is to follow the lead of tragedy pimping low-life politicians. Is that going to prevent another evil act? NO!
Why, is it that more of us are not demanding these politicians actually address solutions. Solutions that would work, unlike redundant gun laws that do nothing to prevent bad people from doing bad things. It seems we are chasing our own tails rather than pushing for measures that would actually help prevent future atrocities.
Can WE, the people, actually focus and do that? Tragically, it seems that answer is, also, no!
