UPDATE! Yes, I am asking for your help again. Please read!

UPDATE!!!!

Mom had her procedure early this morning, everything went well. She is in recovery room. Hopefully, there is no bone infected, and moms foot can heal up. We will see what their strategy is and hopefully the news will keep being positive.

Talked to the doctor this morning. They have a procedure scheduled for tomorrow to better determine if the infection is in the bone in her foot, or not. They are going to remove some tissue, and see what is needed. So, again praying for good news. Click to help if you are so led.

Talked to mom last night. She seems to be doing OK, except for some confusion and memory issues. Once they find what type of infection she has, then they can figure how to treat it. And I am hoping she will not need surgery. Have not spoken with her or her doctor yet today, so, stay tuned….. and pray for the best…….

A quick update, mom is going to be examined by a vascular surgeon later today they say, and she will be hospitalized at least through the weekend. She was sleeping so I will talk to her later, and have more updates. Thanks

OK so mom has a bad infection. And they are putting in the hospital. And the doctor says she will likely be sent to the hospital in Lynchburg, about 50 miles away. They have some more advanced treatments.

So, no idea how long she will be in the hospital, or if surgery is needed. So. Prayers are needed my friends.

UPDATE! And, off to the emergency room doctor says. Just got here so, we will see what they say……..Prayers always appreciated

AND, another update. Mom is at the doctor’s waiting to see the doctor about her foot, which is almost certainly infected.

UPDATE!!!! Hopefully antibiotics will be all she needs. After that she has prescription refills to get. Updates to this update, to be updated later.

Well, some good news, as some donations are hitting the bank, it is kind of like keeping our noses above the flood waters. More should hit tomorrow. So, your generosity is helping. THANK YOU SO MUCH!I am hopeful I can soon address our property tax situation.

Now moms right foot is reddish, swollen, and a bit sore. So the home heath nurse that Medicare provides called moms doctor, and we are waiting for the doctor to call.I am hoping she does not suggest another trip to the ER, but… Will update later. Again, thank you all.

UPDATE! Today has been tough. Mom seems a bit extra confused. I am exhausted, car is dead, as is the battery, so is the key fob, and I have been trying to figure our how to open the hood. So I can maybe get a new battery after some donations hit the bank. Then I can call and hopefully get someone to bring a new battery. Hopefully tomorrow some funds will get to our account. Hopefully. So,that is my saga of the Day. Still behind the bill car repair, property tax wall. So. Again, if you can, please help thanks.

UPDATE! So, mom is home from hospital now, and her confusion is worse, which is very discouraging. Seems every hospital stay sees her mind degrade a small bit. Hopefully, that course will correct itself, At least a bit. But, at least she is in her own home again. Please remember to help if possible God bless

UPDATE OK, took moms sugar reading this morning and it was high, over 600 high. Apparently she was snacking a bit too much despite me trying everything to prevent her over indulging. So, I called 911 and they have taken her to the hospital. So, she should be fine after they get it down.

Now, I am thinking of ways to get more money. Luckily, I went to the grocery store and stocked up Monday. I am waiting for a $300 check to hit our account Monday, that will help, And, the 17th we will get a Social Security check, but the majority of our bills hit the 2nd half of every month, so it will be tight, very tight. Tight as in her Medicare premiums, utility bill, insulin that needs refilling, along with 3 other prescriptions she needs refilled soon, and, as an added bonus the battery in the car is dead as of this week. And those are damned expensive these days. So, all told, we are going to run short. And OH yeah, property taxes, and personal property taxes are due…….. Which is why we really need help. I have canceled my Blue Host account. And as of late May. This blog is no more. I will go back to the free site on WordPress.Com as of that date.

Well, life is odd, as in cruel at times.and I, and mom are broke, well, until the 17th of this month. When we get her Social Security check. I am ashamed to ask for help again. But, that is the position I find us in.
As it is now, I do not where to turn, I really don’t.
So, I ask again for help, and for your generosity. My moms Insulin needs refilling soon, and her premium for Medicare, that pays for Dialysis is paid until early May, so that is looming not that far down the road. Again, if you can, help.
