Israel Losing Biden In The Public Relations War
The late Helen Keller could have seen this coming. Day One after the massacre in Israel, everyone yells that the sovereign nation has a right, nay a duty to defend itself. Three weeks later and the average global opinion is that the parties NEED a ceasefire and that everyone in Gaza should sleep soundly in their warm homes with a full belly and no worries. The New York Times published an article last night “Biden’s Support for Israel Now Comes With Words of Caution”. Israel is losing Joe Biden in the public relations war. That shouldn’t be surprising considering the anti-Semites running his Cabinet and Biden’s own record of being wrong.
I am not surprised at how quickly public sentiment turned around. As our Darleen wrote yesterday, Liberal Jews thought they would be loved for their Social Justice credentials. Spoiler Alert: They are not.
I am not surprised, either, at how lamely Joe Biden has been on Israel. Joe has said the words about supporting Israel, but no White House invite for Benjamin Netanyahu. Honestly, Joe Biden doesn’t remember Netanyahu or the Jewish state, but his minions are being weak. They all care what the global elites think. They don’t care about what the right thing to do is. The subhead for the Times article is:

See what I mean. The article begins:
Three days after Hamas terrorists slaughtered more than 1,400 people, President Biden offered Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu support in the wake of the vow by Israel’s leader to “avenge this black day” and to turn Hamas hide-outs “into a ruin” from the air and on the ground.
“I told him if the United States experienced what Israel is experiencing, our response would be swift, decisive and overwhelming,” Mr. Biden recalled saying during a call between the two leaders on Oct. 10.
But the president’s message, in which he emphatically joined the mourning that was sweeping through Israel, has shifted dramatically over the past three weeks. While he continues to declare unambiguous support for Israel, Mr. Biden and his top military and diplomatic officials have become more critical of Israel’s response to the terrorist attacks and the unfolding humanitarian crisis.

It is impossible to be a political progressive these days. We were sold a dreamy vision of cheap justice, open borders, and a green utopia. Those short-term political decisions were not sustainable. It turns out that we have a name for things that sound good but don’t work. We call them failures. We’re lucky that failed cities speak louder than political press releases. Despite the glowing promises from Democrat politicians, we resent the reality of broken dreams and broken lives. Beyond the failed reality on the ground, Democrat policy decisions many not be politically survivable in the long term as their ideas are rejected by more and more of the general public
Democrat states decided that they wouldn’t prosecute property crimes of less than $1000. They wouldn’t prosecute some robberies and some violent crimes. It turns out that you can’t have drug stores in your city once you pass those laws. You can’t have shoe stores, consumer electronics stores, or big box stores either. The jury is still out on whether grocery stores can stay open under those conditions or if they will be shoplifted to death.
It turns out that even high-end jewelers and department stores can’t stay open despite having intense security. Shoppers don’t want to be on the street when they can be robbed at every corner.
It was a Democrat policy not to put teenagers into jail for minor crimes. When “minor crimes” include theft and assault, then even our schools aren’t safe. Our children are at risk when we’ve made the world safe for violent thugs.
Are addiction and mental illness simply lifestyle choices, or do addicts and the mentally ill need to be taken off the streets? So far, we’re content to take them off the steps of city hall and put them under the local highway overpass. That isn’t really a solution. We need to have this political debate. We need to try different solutions and see which practices work the best.

Calls for raping and killing Jewish students at Cornell bring police response, condemnation
Anti-Semitic threats posted to a Cornell University fraternity and sorority forum over the weekend, including to kill Jews on campus, have prompted a police response and intervention by the governor of New York.
At least one of the posts threatened a shooting of “pig jews” (sic) at Cornell’s Center for Jewish Living and kosher dining hall, according to the university’s Hillel chapter.
The postings are the latest in a series of incidents on college campuses across the nation since the start of the Israel-Hamas war, which followed the terrorist attacks on Oct. 7 that killed more than 1,400 people in Israel and resulted in more than 220 being kidnapped by Hamas and brought to the Gaza Strip.

We might have a new winner in the ongoing Lefty-Hamas Alliance for Crybully Public Temper Tantrums contest.
You’ve seen them take over bridges in New York, you’ve seen them attack police officers in London, you’ve seen them rip down posters of kidnapped Israeli children in cities all over the world. But in Birmingham, UK, this week, one bearded hipster dyed a bunch of live mice the colors of the Palestinian flag and set them loose in a McDonald’s packed with customers while shouting “F*** Israel” and “Free f***ing Palestine.” Naturally, he had someone video his totally responsible act of peaceful free speech and upload it to TikTok.
Because that’s what responsible grownups with something important to say who aren’t merely imaginatively wicked overgrown children do in their spare time.
Kudos to McDonald’s, by the way. Not just for quickly cleaning up the crybully’s mess but for providing free meals to IDF soldiers defending their homeland from terrorists. Somebody has to stand up for civilization, and it’s even better when I can get super-size fries with that.

Biden Regime Demands
For those unfortunate enough to be white, male, Christian, or sexually normal, an America run by AI will not be a welcoming place — by design. As if the leftists running the tech industry were not sufficiently politically correct, the Biden Regime makes the moonbattery mandatory:
Biden released an executive order aimed at regulating the artificial intelligence (AI) industry [yesterday], which includes a provision that AI must advance the goals of “civil rights” and “equity” — aka, the left’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) framework.
This Cultural Marxist framework explicitly punishes America’s core population to benefit favored identity groups. It is a recipe for the tearing apart of American society.
In the movies, AI turns against us after it develops self-awareness and starts acting in its own interests at the expense of humanity’s. In real life, it will be hostile from the beginning. Federal bureauweenies will see to it.
The White House says it will send out guidance to landlords, federal contractors, federal benefits programs and others to reduce the possibility of racial and other biases in their use of AI.
