SOOOOOOO, life is a tad hectic right now

Mom is in the hospital, she lost her appetite Sunday morning and was getting confused. Took her to the emergency room Monday. They diagnosed her with a UTI, prescribed anti-biotics, and, this morning, about 6. The hospital called saying her blood work showed a more serious infection and she was put on an IV to get her antibiotics in her system faster. They admitted her, and eventually found her dialysis catheter was the cause of infection, so, that has to be replaced. So, figure a week till she is released, and hopefully her mind will improve, and stay out of a rehabilitation facility.

Prayers, of course, are appreciated

  1. Yeah, my wife and I just went through all this with my father-in-law (a retired pastor, now recently deceased), he had one UTI after another after his mobility went down hill.

    My wife and I will keep you in our prayers, that I can promise. Being a pastor’s kid she might have some pull, me he keeps saying who’s that again? But yeah, may God bless you and your mom.
