The Florida legislature passed H.B. 1557, the Parental Rights in Education Act, on March 8, 2022. The bill sought to “prohibit[ ] classroom discussion about sexual orientation or gender identity” for students in kindergarten through third grade, provided parents with more transparency about any “critical decisions affecting a student’s mental, emotional, or physical well-being,” and prevented schools from adopting policies that purposefully kept parents in the dark. The left nicknamed H.B. 1557 the “Don’t Say Gay” bill.
When the media initially started referring to H.B. 1557 as the “Don’t Say Gay” bill, the governor had no idea what they were referring to. “All of a sudden, I’m out doing just random press conferences, and I hear the media start repeating [‘Don’t Say Gay’],” DeSantis told me with a chuckle.
After years of clashes with the media over Covid-19 and critical race theory, the governor immediately knew what this was: “B.S.” For DeSantis, it was the perfect illustration of establishment mediocrity and laziness. “It’s an example of the left creating kind of a narrative and literally corporate press just echoing exactly what the left is saying,” he said.

The Biden regime’s double standard of justice runs right through Matthew Graves’ office.
During the 2020 presidential election cycle, Matthew M. Graves donated $2,000 to the Biden-Harris campaign. The modest contribution was a no-brainer for Graves. Not only was he a domestic policy advisor for the campaign, he worked at the time for the same white-shoe law firm as Douglas Emhoff, Kamala Harris’ husband.
Graves’ kowtowing paid off. In November 2021, Graves took the helm of one of the most politically-charged U.S. attorneys office’s in the country: the District of Columbia.
Since then, Graves has escalated the pace and nature of the ongoing investigation into the events of January 6. His fixation on a four-hour disturbance that occurred more than 28 months ago has nothing to do with law and order and everything to do with using the full weight of the federal government to punish Americans who protested Biden’s election that afternoon.

Once again, Joe let his anger loose. The commencement speech he gave at Howard University yesterday was a master class in anger, division, and pandering.
President Joe Biden on Saturday told graduates of a leading historically Black university that American history “has not always been a fairy tale” and that “racism has long torn us apart.” But on the nation’s best days, he said “enough of us have the guts and the heart to stand up for the best in us.”
No, the history of this nation hasn’t been all hearts and flowers. However, it is not as rancid, racist, nor as divisive as Joe Biden claims it is. But you see, he needs to keep pushing the ‘all white people are always racist’ narrative so he can get the votes. Like I said, we are watching a master class in pandering. And sadly, not enough of his audience will take a step back, assess the reality around them, and realize Joe is lying.

U. Buffalo student government to cancel YAF club following Michael Knowles’ speech
Legislation recently approved by the University at Buffalo Student Association would cut funding and resources to the school’s Young Americans for Freedom chapter because it disallows campus clubs from being associated with off-campus outside organizations.
The Young Americans for Freedom chapter is part of the nationwide Young America’s Foundation, a conservative nonprofit that teaches high school and college students about Constitutional principles.
