Prosecutors said on Saturday that a Chicago man fatally shot one victim and tried to kill another on March 4 while he was on bail for a pending felony aggravated battery case.
Jelen Lee, 21, is the sixth person accused of killing or trying to kill someone in Chicago this year while awaiting trial for a felony. The cases involve nine victims, five of whom died.
Six may not seem like a large number, but remember that people have to have been arrested twice in 2023 to show up in this count.
Now, you might be pondering why the political left continues to push “bail reform”? Allow me to say, it IS working as the left hopes. It is all part of erasing America, which is the end goal.
