As of now, I will vote for the GOP nominee. If it is Trump I will overlook his cowardly, pointless and false attacks on DeSantis. That vote for Trump will come because it will be good for America. Trump and his attack dogs, have lost my respect.
I care about my country, and pray for it. I will always put its interest first. Yes. Even if it means voting for a man whose despicable attacks on Gov. DeSantis have shown him to be a miscreant. We have a wonderful opportunity to elect a president that will place our nations interests first in 2024. I believe we could have, if we are wise, three terms of great leadership. But not with Trump, and some of his followers savaging DeSantis, with baseless accusations meant to degrade his fine job as Governor. This is not leadership.
Regarding those Trump lapdogs that gladly and eagerly spew fallacious attacks upon good men like DeSantis! I fear their motivation is, too often personal, rather than patriotic and I pray we never hear their names again. Is DeSantis a man who would make a great president? I pray history will show him to be if elected. I believe he would be. I pray Mr. Trump will, if elected again, forsake his baseless attacks and instead return to his passion for putting this country, and its people first, as he did from 2017 to 2021. He is to be praised and celebrated for his service, and I will pray for his return to form.
Lastly, I pray most fervently that our nation will raise up men that understand the word honor to assume leadership roles. Men and women who will lead with honor and patriotism. And with selflessness. Men like Franklin, Madison, Jefferson, Washington, Monroe, Paine, Adams, Henry, Mason, Lee, Hancock. Men who literally risked their lives. Men we can never repay, save by emulating their courage, principles, and sacrifices. It is our duty, to live up to the standards they set. Because without such men, we are as a nation, doomed.
Well DeSantis walked back his comments on Ukraine and went thoroughly neo-con. I don’t see anyone running for president who has a shred of credibility.
DeSantis is just a younger Mitch McConnell. He just changed his position on Ukraine to support what the UniParty in DC wants. He like most of the “establishment” Republicans care more about what those in power want rather than what the people want….If he is the nominee I will vote for him (because he would be better than any Dem) but he will not challenge the current power structure in DC which only benefits the so-called “leadership”, not the We the People

The only issue I have with DeSantis thus far, is the fact that the Bush clan is always standing behind him and they appear to be raising a lot of money for him. They want the party back and they should all burn.
His record is Conservative, on gun rights, he wants a bill blocking the new digital money, we know he is all over the woke BS. He owned the left by sending illegals to Sanctuary cities, he has fired a Soros DA. I just hope people look at his record. Why Trump is smearing him as a RINO, I cannot grasp. Just debate the guy.
