HOLLOW SANCTIMONY OVER HAWARA

One Sunday, two brothers, Hillel and Yagel Yaniv, young men with a bright future ahead of them were murdered while stuck in traffic in the Muslim village of Hawara in Israel. The locals celebrated their crime by singing, handing out candy and shooting off fireworks in the air.

“Every day, yes! – every single day – at least 20 Jewish cars get stoned while driving through Hawara,” Shmuel Sackett, the head of a tree-planting foundationwrote.

1,600 Israeli Jewish families have to travel the road that goes through the village. Stoning cars, he clarified, means “throwing bricks and dropping cinder blocks from rooftops.”

Question: When is President Joe Biden going to announce he’s running for reelection? Answer: He already does it every day. Not in so many words, but his policy actions speak louder, and even hollow and temporary changes of policy say as much as any official declaration.

Biden will fail to follow through on his sudden policy adjustments, but they’re coming thick and fast because he has to repair rips in his case for another White House term.

My colleague, Byron York, has written about Biden’s sudden efforts to cast himself as tough on immigration, an issue on which he is 44 points underwater in polls because of the disaster he’s created on the southern border. His abject mismanagement drew a record 2 million-plus illegal immigrants into the United States in 2022, five times as many as in the year before he took office.

To muddy the waters on immigration, he’ll do what he did on spending. With that, he used the $2 trillion federal deficit of 2020, the year of the COVID recession, as his baseline and bragged that its decline to $1.4 trillion by 2022 made him fiscally responsible for “the largest one-year drop in American history.” He treats voters as fools who can’t see through the sham. If he cuts illegal immigration, let’s say by 25%, expect him to argue in 2024, “I cut record illegal immigration by 500,000 — more than any president in history.” Yadda, yadda!

McCarthy Defends Releasing Jan. 6 Tapes to Carlson, Fires Right Back at CNN Reporter After He Whines

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy stood firm on his decision to make thousands of hours of video footage from the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol incursion available to Fox News host Tucker Carlson after a CNN reporter implied he had done something wrong.

In the mind of CNN congressional correspondent Manu Raju, offering Americans a broader perspective of the events that day is a bad idea.

Wokes Can’t Beat the Culture They’re Destroying. They want to rewrite old books because they can’t equal them.

The recent controversies over politically correct rewrites of James Bond novels and Roald Dahl’s children’s books highlights just how dependent a woke culture industry is on the works of dead white men, like Dahl, Fleming and Tolkien, who were anything but politically correct.

Or even living, but currently politically incorrect white women, like J.K. Rowling.

Woke culture has filled every school with graphic sexual books like Beyond Magenta and Lawn Boy which describe 8 and 10-year-olds having sex, but can’t generate any of its own classics. That’s why Netflix bought the Roald Dahl Story Company for $686 million, Amazon paid $8.5 billion for MGM, whose crown jewel is James Bond, and has spent over $1 billion to make its own woke version of Tolkien’s mythos. (New woke Lord of the Ring movies are also coming.)

MOOSE FAULT: Experts Think They’re to Blame to Blame for Climate Doom

Damned fossil fueled moose

Researchers identify this mammal as latest potential cause of climate change, suggest balancing species

Researchers claim that moose are potentially a leading cause of climate change and that the species should be balanced, suggesting they are “one of the biggest potential single sources of carbon emissions from wooded parts of Norway.”

The Norwegian University of Science and Technology studied moose in Norwegian forests for several years and concluded that the species have a major effect on vegetation growth and are altering the carbon cycle by dining on tree buds. “Moose are an ecosystem engineer in the forest ecosystem, and strongly impact everything from the species composition and nutrient availability in the forest. A grown animal can eat 50 kilograms of biomass each day during summer,” Gunnar Austrheim, an ecologist at the NTNU University Museum, said in a press release.
