Game Company Fires Employee for Tweet that is More than 6 years Old

Limited Run Games is “committed” to an inclusive culture, UNLESS you disagree with the Woke Mob. Then they will terminate you in a heartbeat.

This is a link to the Twitter thread the captures a lot of the insanity.

American Greatness

The gleaming promise of new technology and its uses blinded us to the insidious extent imperiled elitists would go to protect their unmerited power, wealth, and status. We were naïve. Yet, even if one could have foreseen the metastasizing tyranny brought about by the digital age, it would have strained credulity to watch Americans—especially the young—not merely acquiescing to it, but embracing it.

Though we are now inured to its novelty, it bears recollecting that from the late 20th century to the present, we have lived through a worldwide communications revolution. Profoundly affecting the individual and society, the full impact of this revolution remains unclear. Humanity’s ability to choose and pursue happiness has been empowered to an extent undreamt. In the palm of one’s hand, or upon one’s laptop or desk, and with just a stroke of a key, one can instantaneously communicate with family and friends a world away, conduct business, petition the government for the redress of grievances, or bring calumny upon a major corporation. In sum, the communications revolution is an historically unprecedented technological boon for personal empowerment, growth, enrichment, and self-government.

It is this last that alarms the elitists.

American Thinker

Governor DeSantis is picking a fight with the academic left, and it’s a shrewd move.

I am thrilled that Ron DeSantis is putting in place people who want to reverse the woke academic coup d’état at one state-run institution of higher education. New College of Florida is a rarity: a public liberal arts small college (675 students) that is part of the State University System of Florida, where in-state tuition is under $7000 a year

Daniel Greenfield

The Associated Press revealed last year that it had scored $8 million to promote claims of global warming. The AP impartially described this massive conflict of interest as an illustration of “how philanthropy has swiftly become an important new funding source for journalism”.

“This far-reaching initiative will transform how we cover the climate story,” its executive editor claimed. That is no doubt true. And an incredibly damaging admission.

The philanthropic quid-pro-quo saw five organizations fund the AP’s dedicated team of “more than two dozen journalists” to cover “climate issues” that the wire service would then plant in papers around the country to terrify Americans into supporting ‘green’ taxes and subsidies.

The Associated Press did not bother to explain to its readers or the newspapers that run its stories why these organizations were impelled to throw millions at it except sheer benevolence.

A federal appeals court has ruled that a public school teacher was within his rights to wear a “Make America Great Again” hat to two faculty training sessions.

A three-judge panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Thursday that science teacher Eric Dodge was protected by the First Amendment right to free speech with his choice of headgear.

Dodge, then a science teacher at Wy’east Middle School in Vancouver, Washington, wore the bright red “MAGA” hat — commonly associated with supporters of then-President Donald Trump — to a two-day cultural sensitivity training session in August 2019, according to The Columbian.
