Despite the damage they have inflicted on American culture, America still stands for everything leftists hate, being a predominantly Christian constitutional republic, moral, healthy, and free. Otherwise, the educrats at Stanford would not have struck the word “American” from the Newspeak Dictionary:
Stanford University released a guide this week on “harmful” language that it wants to remove from its online properties — noting that the term “American” is a no-go.
The language guide, which was published Monday, aims to “eliminate many forms of harmful language, including racist, violent, and biased … language in Stanford websites and code.”
Launched in May, the project, known as the Elimination of Harmful Language Initiative (EHLI), lists the prohibited terms under 10 categories including racism, homophobia and ableism.

Fairfax Commonwealth Attorney Steve Descano has entered into another plea deal, this time with a shooter who fired into a crowded bar and was facing six felony charges totaling 20 years in prison, according to reporting by the Washington Free Beacon’s Josh Christenson—and it could have disastrous consequences for the victim, and the community, and even the nation.
In 2021, Descano let a man accused of attempted rape go with just five months in another plea deal, and then the man went on a shooting spree in New York City for nine days, killing two homeless men and wounding three others.

Regular readers of The College Fix are well aware of how so-called “whiteness” can be defined as virtually anything, and be culpable for just about any conceivable malady.
After all, academics have classified whiteness as a disease, an abuse of children, responsible for “all psychic suffering,” and even a sin.
Affluent, progressive Caucasians are big fans of this sort of stuff; why else would they shell out over $22,000 for just pre-K to a school that offers what the Charles Wright Academy does?
As part of its diversity, equity and inclusion program, the pricey private institution near Tacoma, Washington offers a monthly “affinity group for parents” titled “Understanding Whiteness.” Last month it also held “Parenting While White” and “The Importance of Discussing Social Identity with Your Kids” trainings (see flier).

To combat climate change, Oregon bans sale of new, 100% gasoline-powered cars by 2035
All new cars sold in Oregon by 2035 must be considered zero-emissions vehicles.
On Monday, Oregon’s Environmental Quality Commission voted unanimously to adopt the Advanced Clean Cars II Rule, requiring auto manufacturers to begin producing and delivering a growing number of zero-emission vehicles to Oregon beginning in 2026, so that they make up 100% of new vehicles sold in the state by 2035.
Zero-emissions vehicles include cars that are fully powered by electric batteries and plug-in hybrids that run on both electricity and gasoline, according to the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, which developed the rules and recommended the commission adopt them. The five governor-appointed commissioners are the rule-making authority for the Oregon Environmental Quality Department.

Unlike President Joe Biden, MSNBC actually visited the Southwest U.S. border this week – and were shocked to find a crisis.
Having buried their heads in the sand for the past two years (and after spending the four before that calling then-President Donald Trump a Nazi for valuing border security), MSNBC was apparently dumbfounded to find that thousands of illegal aliens are crossing into the United States, overwhelming border agents, straining local resources, and maxing out shelters. Which, given that the border has been experiencing record-shattering waves of illegal immigration every\ since President Joe Biden took office, kinda begs the question, “Where the heck have y’all been?”
“If Title 42 is lifted, officials say there’ll be a record number of 10,000 unauthorized border crossings per day. So what is the long-term solution? I mean, you’ve talked to officials down there that they’ve ramped up, but they can’t possibly handle that,” Andrea Mitchell asked NBC News’s Homeland Security correspondent Julia Ainsley, who was explaining the situation from the ground in El Paso, Texas.
