Three people were killed and 11 wounded when a shootout erupted in Philadelphia’s South Street entertainment district Saturday night:

Officers patrolling the South Street area heard gunfire shortly before midnight and observed “several active shooters shooting into the crowd,” [Police Inspector D.F.] Pace said.
One officer was “within about 10 to 15 yards” of one of the shooters and fired at the suspect, Pace said. “We’re uncertain whether he was struck or not, but the officer was able to get that individual to drop his gun and flee.”
Two handguns were recovered at the scene, including one with an extended magazine, Pace said. But as of early Sunday, no arrests had been made.

Suspects are at large, but the media will provide no description of the suspects. Did you know the incident was captured on video?

Around 11:30 p.m., three men got into a fight on the 200 block of South Street. Video shows the encounter began as a fistfight, with one man exchanging words with two others, one of whom appears to draw a handgun.
People nearby began to panic. “They about to shoot!” a woman said in the video.
After a short brawl, a volley of gunshots rang out. Vanore said two of the three men in the fight fired at each other. One of them — the man who first drew a handgun — was killed, Vanore said. The other was hospitalized in critical condition.
But the shots in the packed nightlife district sparked chaos. Within seconds, police said, several other people began shooting into crowds gathered outside.

Go read it all, videos of the shooting, and the fight that started it are there. Strangely, the shooters look like they would NOT BE NRA members. HMMMMMM, but Krasner of course blamed the NRA, and lawful gun owners, to which McCain replied by pointing out that Krasner finds prosecuting gun crimes to be NO FAIR!!

Guess how much “senseless gun violence” there was in my neighborhood this weekend? Zero, despite the fact that gun ownership in this vicinity is a lot higher than it is in Philadelphia, which has strict gun control laws.
This is directly related to why the media won’t describe the shooters in this incident, even though these dangerous suspects are still at large. As for Krasner’s comment about the need “for real action” and “common sense gun regulation,” his office is on the record as being against prosecuting cases of illegal gun possession. After shootings increased in 2020, the Philadelphia city council authorized “the Committee on Public Safety and the Special Committee on Gun Violence Prevention” to investigate and prepare a report, which was ultimately issued in January 2022. In that report, the District Attorney’s office said that it was unfair to enforce the city’s gun control laws:

As ususal, nothing they are going to pass will stop ZERO mass killings, and those other murders? That make up the vast majority or murders? These laws will not stop them either. That’s the headline on an Associated Press story by Michael Sisak which says that the gunmen in Uvalde and Buffalo “are just the latest suspected U.S. mass shooters whose ability to obtain guns has raised concern”:

After the shootings, which together left 31 people dead, President Joe Biden renewed calls for stronger gun laws and questioned whether people as young as 18 should be allowed to purchase firearms. In the past, Biden has called for banning assault-style weapons and expanding background checks. Many Republicans oppose the measures.

Zendo Deb links a story that the mainstream media will ignore, because of race

This is not a national story. Nothing to see here. Move along! His Name Was Seth Smith – by Chris – Karlstack

He was basically killed for being white by a black guy. So of course nothing happened, according the national media.

Now the story

Seth Smith was a double major in economics and history at UC Berkeley. He was only 19 but a third-year student, scheduled to graduate next spring at the age of 20… he must have been very smart. He was a beautiful and brilliant young guy who had everything going for him. His dream was to attend graduate school at the London School of Economics.
At ~10 pm on June 15th, 2020 — almost exactly two years ago — Seth went out for a walk. On this walk he was shot in the back of the head, execution-style. His body was found half an hour later by a man walking his dog, sprawled on his back with one of his earbuds still in his ear, indicating he was listening to music. Here is a picture of the bus stop where Seth’s body was found.

How did Berkeley react to the murder of this kid. By, somehow, playing the Race Card

Here is how Berkeley administrators reacted to Seth’s death, in probably the most evil fashion I could imagine. Let’s linger on this statement for a bit because it deserves a rant of its own.

Many of you may have had a close relationship with Seth and are feeling a sense of loss and disbelief.
Others, like many of us, are experiencing stress, grief and anxiety related to the coronavirus pandemic and the recent murders of George Floyd, Riah Milton, and other Black Americans.

BBC Censoring to avoid “misgendering”?

The BBC has been accused of violating the journalistic principle of accuracy by changing the testimony of a rape victim to avoid “misgendering” the accused rapist, a biological male who identifies as a transgender woman.
In the testimony, the anonymous rape victim, who is a lesbian, referred to the transgender rapist as “him,” saying that “he” raped her.
In the article, the BBC changed the woman’s words by referring to the rapist as “they” instead of “him.”
The original statement read: “I was too young to argue and had been brainwashed by queer theory so he was a ‘woman’ even if every fibre of my being was screaming throughout, so I agreed to go home with him. He used physical force when I changed my mind upon seeing his penis and raped me.”
According to The Times, the decision to censor the woman’s words to respect the rapist’s preferred pronouns was debated in the editorial room.
“Some journalists argued that the quote should remain intact, while others said it should reflect the trans woman’s preferred she/her pronouns,” The Times reported.
A source for The Times said: “They were originally all male references but the woke bros at the news website wanted to make them female because of misgendering. It’s quite shocking. I can’t think of any other situation where we would change the words of an alleged rape victim.”

Just wondering, just curious here. Given the media’s saturation coverage, and frankly leftist activism of two recent mass shootings. Why have they IGNORED this story….

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — A woman in West Virginia fatally shot a man who began firing an AR-15-style rifle into a crowd of people that had gathered for a party, authorities said.

Dennis Butler, 37, was killed Wednesday night after he pulled out the rifle and began shooting at dozens of people attending the birthday-graduation party outside an apartment complex in the city of Charleston, police said in a statement.

The woman, who was attending the party, drew a pistol and fired, killing Butler, the statement said. No one at the party was injured.

Of course, they ignored this story too

FORT SMITH, Ark. — An Arkansas man who authorities say fatally shot an 87-year-old neighbor was trying to lure residents of his apartment complex outside before someone shot and killed him, according to witnesses.

“He was yelling and screaming: ‘You guys get out here, come out here, everyone get out of this building right now,’” Janey Peugh, who lives at the complex, told KFSM television station.

Police in Fort Smith, Arkansas, located on the border with Oklahoma, say that after Zachary Arnold, 26, fatally shot Lois Hicks on Saturday morning, he continued to shoot at neighboring apartments with a semi-automatic rifle. Another resident, who has not been named, retrieved a hunting rifle and shot and killed Arnold, police said.

So, two cases of mass shooters being stopped by ARMED citizens, and the media coverage? Nowhere to be found….. And YES, FOX, your lack of coverage for these cases stinks as badly as any other media outlet’s.

Honestly, if a mass shooting deserves the hyper coverage it gets, then why not a mass shooting that is stopped by an armed good guy, or good woman? Bias anyone? HMMMM, here is more!

BELLEVUE, WA – -(Ammoland.com)- A newly-released FBI report on “active shooter incidents” in 2021 [embeded below] revealed four of those killers were stopped by armed private citizens, and the Second Amendment Foundation says this is strong evidence the right to keep and bear arms is as important today as it was when the Constitution was ratified more than 200 years ago.

Here are some more that kinda, just never got a lot of attention

1. November 2017– A man started firing in a parking lot of a crowded auto repair shop in Rockledge, FL killing one and paralyzing another. Two of the employees had concealed carry permits and fought back, shooting and injuring the attacker and preventing any more damage.

2. November 2017– An off-duty Kansas City police captain shot an armed man in a local Costco when he announced “I’m an off-duty U.S. Marshal, I’m here to kill people”. The off-duty cop told him to drop the gun and not to move. When the gunman aimed his pistol at the officer, he shot him. No other injuries were reported.

3. September 2017– A masked man entered a Nashville church and shot 7 people, killing one. A church usher was able to run to his car, grab a handgun and confront the shooter, saving untold lives.

Over twenty more at the link. Odd, isn’t it, that the media NEVER EVER even touches the number of how many times Americans WITH GUNS STOP VIOLENT CRIMES!
