America has a severe college problem…….

And, it seems, so does Canada! In a perfect world, college would be meaningful. It would involve teaching marketable skills, work ethics, and would stop awarding students worthless degrees that help no one get a job, or start a career. They would also stop handing out tenure to crackpot professors. And stop coddling “woke” students who spend their college years demonizing everyone who holds different views. Frankly, such students should be told either take your college courses seriously, or show yourself off campus! But, sadly, such reforms are far away in this world. Observe

A Canadian college is under fire after social media users discovered the school required students and faculty joining a Zoom call to agree they have benefited from white privilege and vow to engage in acts of “decolonization.”

George Brown College, a public school with multiple campuses in Toronto, allegedly required participants to read a lengthy statement acknowledging Indigenous land ownership and the evils of slavery before clicking a box marked “I Agree” to join a video conference.

A representative for George Brown College did not respond to multiple requests by The College Fix for comment.

Why was the teacher using these types of flashcards in the first place? There’s no rational reason, except to attempt to indoctrinate the very young children

Wake County teacher resigns following ‘pregnant man’ flashcard controversy

A preschool teacher in Fuquay-Varina has resigned following a controversy surrounding LGBTQ flashcards beings used in her classroom.

On May 27, House Speaker Tim Moore (R) posted about the flashcards, saying Rep. Erin Paré (R-Wake) learned of them from a concerned constituent.

Moore’s post says the flashcards depicted a pregnant man and were being used to teach colors in a preschool class at Ballentine Elementary School.

To teach colors? There are tons of flashcards available to do that, including free ones. Were there not ones provided by the preschool? Instead, the teacher chose to purchase these ones and bring them in.

Paré contacted the school’s principal who confirmed the cards had been used in the classroom and “were not part of approved curriculum and that she was unaware that they were being used.”

In response, Wake County Public School System officials said they were concerned “to learn of the inappropriate instructional resource found in a preschool classroom.”

“An initial review determined that flash cards were not tied to the district’s Pre-K curriculum, did not complement, enrich, or extend the curriculum and were used without the Principal’s review, knowledge, and/or approval,” Wake County Public School System officials said in a news release Friday. “The materials have been removed from the school. The district is reviewing the matter.”

Again PRE-SCHOOLERS! We need teachers, not activists, social justice warriors, or agendas! And Pirates Cove notes that these kids were in special needs classes

The nutters think they can get away with this stuff, but, parents are catching on, and the Fuquay-Varina area isn’t exactly a left leaning location. The teacher at the Ballentine Elementary School has resigned. This story is getting play across the Triangle news outlets, including ABC11 and WRAL, which also has a piece on LGBTQ advocates protesting the parental bill of rights legislation. Perhaps the LGBTQ folks should control their members so it’s not needed, eh? The News And Observer writes

Some critics on social media had demanded that the teacher be fired, but a parent in that special-needs preschool class praised the teacher as being a caring educator.

Wait, this was a special needs pre-school class? Really? Really taking advantage of the children.

The reason we have as many school shootings as we do is that Democrats want them to occur. With help from the media, the tragedies allow for emotional manipulation that can be used to stampede the herd into trampling our right of self-defense.

That is why Chuck Schumer killed a school safety bill in the aftermath of Uvalde.

It is why Tucker Carlson has this to report:

In California, the state assembly just voted to end the requirement, the long-standing requirement that was put in place after school shootings, that schools alert law enforcement when students, “attack, assault or physically threaten school officials.”

Biden’s spokesmoonbat Karine Jean-Pierre is dumb enough to be forthcoming:

“I know there’s been conversation about hardening schools, that is not something [Biden] believes in,” Jean-Pierre told reporters at a White House press conference.

So, if there is not an interest into actually having security as a priority, what is Team Mumbles and Stumbles goal?

“The problem is with guns, and not having legislation to really deal with an issue that is a pandemic here in this country.”

Well, tell us something we did not know. Democrats have decided their best interest involves disarming Americans, and not protecting school children

Can we ever really understand the deeply disturbed?

Well, tough question that is. Are mass shooters just losers? Outcasts? Evil? Off their meds? Maybe taking mental health drugs that, when taken in incorrect doses cause, rather than treat mental dysfunction? I saw this piece at The Other McCain and just got around to reading it all at The Unherd. Take some time and go read it. Here is a sample.

Rampage shooters tend to be losers. The archetype of the modern school shooter, Eric Harris, frequently wrote in his diary about his feelings of alienation and resentment over his lack of social success. “I just want to be surrounded by the flesh of a woman,” begins an entry dated five months before the Columbine shooting, which later devolved into psychopathic fantasies of torture and mutilation. But in an entry from five days later, written after purchasing his first guns, Harris is exuberant. “I am fucking armed. I feel more confident, stronger, more God-like.”

Elliot Rodger, the 2014 Isla Vista shooter whose “manifesto” was a laundry list of complaints about his loneliness and sexual rejection, felt particularly resentful toward his female classmates, whom he saw as “mean, cruel, and heartless creatures that took pleasure from my suffering”. Unable to attract a girlfriend, he settled on revenge. “If I cannot rise above them,” he wrote, “I will destroy them.” When Rodger finally buys a handgun, he is happy for the first time since childhood. “I brought it back to my room and felt a new sense of power. I was now armed. Who’s the alpha male now, bitches?”

Go read it all. The human mind is an amazing thing, and, we may never fully understand it. No doubt mass shooters are deeply flawed. The best advice I could give is for people to stop blaming video games, or guns, or music and accept the fact that there are very dangerous people, whose minds are twisted and, for lack of a better word, evil. Once we accept that, we must also accept that disarming good people will never solve the problem of sick people who wish to do evil things. Our best hope is to be as prepared as possible, with as many good security measures as possible. Gun free zones are, often magnets rather than deterrents for mass killers. That is just reality. As long as politicians and the media prefer climbing up on the Soapbox of Gun Bans to hardening security at schools, and other targets then we ought to ignore them. They are not looking to solve problems that can lead to tragedies. Instead, they are looking to use the tragedies to curtail liberty.

Their having power, and accruing more power is, apparently more important than public safety

A middle school librarian claims many of her schools 11-13 year-olds are “sex workers”? What the F@#*??

If 4-year-olds can be sexual deviants, then it stands to reason that 11-year-olds can be prostitutes:

Police in Northern Virginia are investigating after a middle school librarian allegedly defended a pro-prostitution book by saying it belonged in the library because many of the school’s 11- to 13-year old students are sex workers, The Daily Wire has learned.

Northern Virginia has become a sprawling suburb of the Debt Star. This would explain it being rife with ideologically driven degeneracy. Schools in the county where this happened have come to our attention many times before.

A shocked Loudoun County teacher went to the police after the librarian, Stefany Guido, allegedly made the comment to her. The teacher had asked Guido about a book a parent had flagged on Twitter called “Seeing Gender,” which included a chapter titled “‘Sex Work’ Is Not a Bad Term.”
