Members of a Vermont girls high school volleyball team have been banned from using their own locker room and now have to change in a single bathroom stall after they complained about a transgender teammate.

Some teammates allege that the transgender player at Randolph Union High School made an ‘inappropriate remark’ to some of them while they were changing in the locker room. 

They now want the school to relocate the transgender player, who hasn’t been named. No details of the alleged inappropriate remark have been shared. 

But Vermont’s state law means that students can play sports and use the locker which correspond to the gender with which they identify.

Turning everything upside down. Gender DOES matter! Go read it all!

Starting in 2035 New York will race Marxifornia to the bottom of the Pit of Climate Lunacy!

If only the tyrannical lunacy would stay localized in California. Then it might take only a major earthquake to cure it. But moonbattery metastasizes. Already California’s plan to ban normal vehicles has been picked up by the People’s Republic of New York:

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul on Thursday announced she is ordering state regulators to make changes necessary to require all new passenger cars, pickup trucks and SUVs sold in the state to be zero emissions by 2035.

The move comes about a month after California voted to ban the sale of new gasoline-powered vehicles starting in 2035, setting a precedent for other blue states.

It was about 2 a.m. Wednesday morning when police say 36-year-old Chadwick Lyons broke into a home in a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood in LaGrange, Georgia. It’s unclear if Lyons had any accomplices who managed to escape, but authorities believe the homeowner was woken up by the sound of Lyons talking in the hallway outside of her bedroom.

“The homeowner confronted him. She had a handgun and she fired one round striking him in the lower abdomen,” says Sgt. Stewart Smith, Troup County Sheriff’s Office.

Rachael Kramer lives nearby, she says she would have done the same thing.

“It’s just me and Charlie, so if I her another voice in my home, I’m going to do the same thing. Shoot first and ask questions later,” says Kramer.

“You certainly have the right to have a gun in your home, the right to have gun on your person, the right to have gun in your car. It’s certainly your right to defend yourself in a situation like this,” says Smith.

Russian military cut off at Lyman-UPDATE Russian trying “Advancing in reverse”

The Other McCain has an update on Russia’s “Advance in reverse” strategy

The headlines say the Ukrainians have the Russians “surrounded” or “encircled” at Lyman, although from what I gather, the fact is that the Russians are cut off — can’t retreat, can’t get supplies or reinforcements — because the Ukrainians have all the routes into the town within artillery range, which is almost the same thing in a tactical sense, but not what most people think of when they see the word “surrounded.”

Anyway, here’s the Bloomberg version of the story:

Russian troops are said to be surrounded by Ukrainian forces in the strategic eastern city of Lyman, a day after President Vladimir Putin claimed the area as part of Russia and held a ceremony and pop concert to mark the occasion.

UPDATE!!

UPDATE: No sooner had I published this than Russia announced it was “withdrawing” from Lyman. It’s nighttime in Ukraine, so I assume this “withdrawal” means the Russians are making a run for it before sunrise, probably leaving behind most of their motor vehicles and heavy equipment. It’s a complete humiliation for Putin.
