A team of researchers led by Alexandra Dubinskaya, of Cedar-Sinai Medical Center has found that the medical benefits of women using vibrators are strong enough to warrant doctors prescribing their use to female patients on a regular basis. Things are moving fast in this case, gentle readers. We begin with this surprising, but hopeful, admission:

Nearly 20 officers stood in a hallway outside of the classrooms during this week’s attack on a Texas elementary school for more than 45 minutes before agents used a master key to open a door and confront a gunman, authorities said Friday.
The on-site commander believed the gunman, 18-year-old Salvador Ramos, was barricaded in a classroom at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde during Tuesday’s attack and that the children were not at risk, Texas Department of Public Safety Director Steven McCraw said at a news conference.
If this is accurate, what the f***?! No one present had the wits to find a crowbar or a key?! The fire department was present. All fire departments have purpose-designed door breaching tools. No one thought to get one of those?! It now appears the “barricade” was nothing more than a locked classroom door, and this formidable obstacle stymied the police for “more than 45 minutes?!”

The Chief of Police for the school district md the decision NOT to enter the classroom. WHY?

He was convinced at the time that there was no more threat to the children and that the subject was barricaded and that they had time to organize’ to get into the classroom, McCraw said.
‘Of course it was not the right decision. It was the wrong decision,’ he said.

Perhaps the occasional, continuing gunshots from inside the classroom might have been an indication?

A father of two in Oregon said he gave his guns to his local police department to be destroyed after the recent shooting in Uvalde, Texas that claimed the lives of 19 children and two teachers. In a widely-viewed TikTok video, Ben Beers said he was turning over his two guns — a 9 mm handgun and an AR-15 — to the Hillsboro Police Department because he doesn’t want them anymore. “I know this will not change legislation, or anything to do with gun culture in America, but hopefully it’ll be a form of symbolism,” Beers said in the video. “Hopefully America can wake up, because no other country has the problems that we do with gun culture, ideation, and gun violence like we do.”

Will his actions save lives? Stop crimes? Will it convince even one gang member, or violent criminal to change their ways? Almost assuredly no, BUT, it will get his name and face out there, and, then, he can have what he really wants. LOOK AT ME!!!!! Think of all the woke media who will fawn over him. “How brave you are!” They will say. “What a great father!” “What a real man should be!”

Leftism is, after all, an ideology of LOOK AT ME!

Elephants Are Attacking Humans As Climate Change Pushes Them to the Brink

Elephants are known for being gentle giants. But climate change is beginning to take its toll, with attacks on humans increasing as global temperatures rise.

In India, 500 people are thought to be killed by elephants every year, mainly in crop-raiding incidents. In 2021, India Today reported that 3,310 people had died from elephant attacks in the last 7 years. As incidents like this increase, so has retaliation from villagers. In 2001, 60 elephants were found dead across North East India and Sumatra as crop poisoning became a popular form of retaliation.

In parts of Africa, elephants are increasingly entering farmlands in search of food and water, particularly during harvesting seasons. In 2018, a herd of 28 elephants destroyed 18 homesteads and fences, in Namibia village, Otjorute. Another notable incident in 2021 saw a group of elephants invading farms in Ngaremara, Northern Kenya. At the time, farmers threatened to kill the elephants, before animal welfare groups intervened.
