The Bert Avenue resident got his gun when he noticed a man carrying a hammer was smashing his Ring camera and banging on his front door at about 10:25 p.m., the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office said Tuesday.

The homeowner shot Andray Ingram in the chest when Ingram reached the vestibule inside the home, authorities said.

See? Very solid advice

Over at The Other McCain, there is a post that is a must read. Why are certain judges, who lean heavily left, becoming absolutists where gun rights are concerned?

Judge Melissa Logan Bellows presides in Circuit Court of Jefferson County, Kentucky, which is to say, Louisville, a community torn by racial conflict ever since the Breonna Taylor shooting. During the 2020 election, Joe Biden won only two counties in Kentucky, and Jefferson was one of them. Although judicial elections in Kentucky are officially non-partisan, we might presume that Bellows is a Democrat. However, Bellows was endorsed by the local Republican Party in her 2022 election, in which her opponent was a local civil rights lawyer

Well, if she’s a Republican, she’s gone rogue:

Prohibiting a convicted felon from possessing a gun is unconstitutional, according to a Jefferson County Circuit Court Judge’s ruling.
Judge Melissa Logan Bellows filed the order this week, dismissing the possession charge against a convicted felon and persistent felony offender, Jecory Frazier.
The motion to dismiss was filed by Louisville Attorney Rob Eggert in October on behalf of his client. Eggert claimed the state’s law does not trump the Second Amendment. Bellows agreed, making the first ruling of its kind in Jefferson County.
Trisha Lister, an attorney at Eggert’s office, wrote the motion.
She believes Bellows’ opinion was well-written.
She told WAVE News Troubleshooters the Second Amendment does not single out convicted felons. She said the charge has been not been equally enforced and is used as a way to keep people of color from having guns. Lister stated over 70% of those prosecuted on that standalone charge are minorities.

No sooner had I digested this crazy decision from Kentucky, than a Chicago judge decided that the federal law prohibiting firearms possession by illegal aliens is unconstitutional:

Ajudge this month dropped gun charges against an illegal migrant in Illinois, sparking further debate about the rights associated with the Second Amendment.
U.S. District Court Judge Sharon Coleman of the Northern District of Illinois referenced lower court rulings in dismissing firearm possession charges against Heriberto Carbajal-Flores, who was illegally or unlawfully in the United States when he possessed a handgun in the Little Village neighborhood of Chicago on June 1, 2020.
“The Court finds that Carbajal-Flores’ criminal record, containing no improper use of a weapon, as well as the non-violent circumstances of his arrest do not support a finding that he poses a risk to public safety such that he cannot be trusted to use a weapon responsibly and should be deprived of his Second Amendment right to bear arms in self-defense,” Coleman, who was appointed under President Barack Obama, wrote in her eight-page ruling filed March 8.

The establishment narrative in the United States is pathologically negative, with its centerpiece being the climate “crisis.” A generation of America’s youth has been indoctrinated to believe the planet’s ecosystems are on the brink of catastrophic collapse, bringing with it chaos and doom. A venal consensus among America’s wealthiest elites to further centralize their own power and control. The dynamics of this are well understood by anyone who has already had their Red Pill moment. The over-the-top and coordinated media attacks on Trump, commencing in 2015 and escalating every year, opened the eyes of millions. Additional millions awakened during the COVID lockdown, as everything from school curricula to mainstream public health advice was often revealed to be indifferent, if not destructive, to the interests of normal Americans. Daniel. Greenfield lays into Senator Schumer for his support of Hamas

Senator Chuck Schumer stood at the Senate podium and laid out his vision of the “four obstacles to peace”. These, according to the Senate Majority Leader were, Hamas, “right wing Israelis”, PLO terrorist leader Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Having equated Israeli conservatives to Hamas, Schumer demanded that Israel call a new election and remove its current government from power. And if Israelis did not choose to obey, he warned that the “United States will have no choice but to play a more active role in shaping Israeli policy by using our leverage to change the present course.”

If the Israelis vote wrongly again, the Biden administration “should use the tools at its disposal to make sure our support for Israel is aligned with our broader goal of achieving long-term peace and stability.” Peace and stability paradoxically means a ‘Palestinian’ terrorist state.

What did Netanyahu do wrong? According to Schumer, he won’t commit to a terrorist state and insists on finishing off Hamas in Rafah. Or as Schumer put it in his Orwellian tortured diction, he “won’t commit to a military operation in Rafah that prioritizes protecting civilian life.” The kind of operation the Biden administration has in mind is a few targeted strikes on Hamas leaders when no civilians are around. That’s the way we fought and lost in Afghanistan. Biden would like to turn Israel into another Afghanistan with Hamas as the Taliban.

In plain language, Schumer is warning Israel to stop its war on Hamas or face sanctions.

Go read the whole thing. The Democratic Party is literally a dumpster fire of evil and depravity

Zendo Deb is all over this travesty of “Social Justice”

This is Eagle Ridge Middle School in Savage, MN.
We’re told this assault on a student by several others took place on Friday.

Savage, Minnesota is about 15 miles southwest of downtown Minneapolis.

The school district, citing privacy, won’t say what punishment was handed down; they won’t even speak in general terms. There is speculation that the punishment is minimal.

What is clear is that the school administrators don’t consider this to be a crime, let alone a hate crime.

DailyMail.com reached out to the Savage Police Department and Eagle Ridge Middle School for comment.

The Savage Police Department confirmed that they did not receive any report of the incident that took place.

NY reparations panel members blame whites for climate change, blast Sen. Tim Scott and want to defund cops

Two representatives appointed to a committee considering paying reparations claimed whites were responsible for climate change, slammed Israel and pushed to defund the police.

Ron Daniels and Lurie Daniel Favors — both appointed to New York’s commission on Reparations and Racial Justice by state Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie — made several fiery statements including Daniels slamming black US Sen. Tim Scott as “Uncle Tim,” according to a review of their public statements.

“White Folks Messed Up the Weather = Black Folks Save the Planet,” Daniels, a longtime activist who ran for president on the minor party Peace and Freedom Party in 1992, said in an Oct. 25, 2021 posting on X.

Patricia Silva who is a lifecoach from Fairbanks had been working out at Planet Fitness and was in the changing room when she caught sight of the individual whom she describes as ‘a man with a penis’ carrying out [his] ablutions, including shaving in front of a 12-year-old girl in a towel.

She advised the ‘trans woman’ that [he] should really be using the male locker rooms but [he] defended [himself] saying [he was] ‘LGB’.
