A 19-year old who broke into a Fredericksburg, Texas home early Saturday morning was shot and killed after attacking one of the residents inside.

The Gillespie County Sheriff’s Office says the intruder, identified as Cleto Neri Solorzano, may have been on some type of drug when he began banging on the back door of the home just before 1 a.m. 73-year old Curtis Roys woke up to the sound of the pounding and went to his back patio to investigate. That’s when Solorzano broke through the door and began assaulting the older gentleman; first beating him with a blunt object and then placing him a chokehold. From KVUE-TV:

Man may have been breaking into home when 14-year-old shot him to death, HCSO says

The gun-hating part of the Left would have it so this kid was unable to defend himself. “Safe storage laws” are not about safety.

Harris County, Texas is the greater Houston area. Houston is the county seat.

According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the man approached the home and was messing with the front door. Gonzalez said it’s unclear if he actually unlocked and opened the door or if he was just turning the door knob back and forth, trying to get inside.

“A 14-year-old boy who was home alone inside the residence became alarmed, grabbed a pistol, and walked to the doorway,” Gonzalez said. “He saw a man he didn’t recognize and reportedly fired five or six shots from inside the home, striking the man.”

Our rulers are not merely wrongheaded but evil. Consider the cognitively incapacitated Joe Biden’s #1 handler, “Dr.” Jill Biden, who aggressively promotes killing special needs children:

Jill Biden is helping keep abortion front and center during the 2024 election season by inviting Kate Cox, a 32-year-old Texas woman who traveled to a neighboring state to eliminate her unborn child with special needs, to attend the State of the Union address with her on March 7.

At least “Dr.” Jill has some expertise on the matter, having a special needs husband.

The dead baby in question was diagnosed with trisomy 18 a.k.a. Edwards syndrome. As Live Action reports,

Research out of the University of Michigan’s Mott Children’s Hospital has revealed that by “taking an aggressive approach to treatment, 90% of babies born with Edwards syndrome can go home from the hospital, and their five-year survival rate can reach close to 77%.”

God help us. When did babies become expendable?
