My mom was put in the hospital yesterday, so, I have been busy with getting her to the ER, getting her admitted, discussing her meds with the hospital, talking to various nurses and her doctor getting her MRI scheduled or tomorrow, and various other things. So, I have had less time for this blog. Here are some things I missed

The list, which he provided exclusively to The Post, includes apologies and clarifications on everything from claiming Ivanka Trump was at the Capitol Jan. 6 (she wasn’t) to complaining Russian soprano Anna Netrebko hadn’t denounced the Ukraine war (she had) to insisting Supreme Court Justices Clarence Thomas and Brett Kavanaugh were “credibly accused” of “sexual harassment and sexual assault.”

If it were not for double standards……….

Granted, we are talking along, long, long time ago, but then CNN decided to go to the left of even MSNBS, and, well their ratings went down like a Clinton intern in a blue dress. Nowadays, the only way their ratings rise is if they suspend their talent, like Don Lemon. The Other McCain takes note

Last week on The Other Podcast, I lamented that my co-host John Hoge didn’t have time to get us a sound bite of the Paw Patrol theme song to play during our segment about the neverending woes at CNN (whose programming gets lower ratings than the Nickelodeon kiddie cartoon). A few recent headlines should suffice to convey the situation:

CNN is in a hole and they keep digging themselves deeper. This week, Don Lemon returned after a three-day absence:

Perhaps, just perhaps, suspending Lemon will provide some daylight to lead them to better ratings……

Don Lemon’s three-day hiatus from “CNN This Morning” resulted in a 5% increase in viewership for the struggling cable news show, which was thrown into turmoil by the co-host’s sexist remarks about GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley last week.
Viewership of “CNN This Morning” reached a total of 617,000 households on Feb. 17 — the first day of Lemon’s absence. The next day, viewership reached 678,000 total households during the three-hour block this past Monday, according to data provided by Samba TV, the analytics firm that provides real-time data on audience measurement for streaming services.
“CNN This Morning” attracted an even larger audience on Tuesday, when it drew 709,000 households, according to Samba TV. Lemon returned on Wednesday. . . .

Is this a Beacon that can lead CNN to better ratings? Will they fire Don Lemon, and the other unentertaining hacks it overpays to drive their rating into the toilet? More importantly might CNN, hire actual journalists, and entertaining people who can get better ratings than a cartoon? I hear they might want to give Charles Barkley some air time. This has “alienated” some at CNN I hear They are paying Bill Maher. He, like Barkley is more entertaining than Lemon. Of course, a trip to the dentist is better than enduring Lemons pomposity. CNN, should take a hint from Fox, which FINALLY figured out that Gutfeld entertains people because he is funny, has some cool guests and can still discuss important issues.

The fact is this “Woke” does not work. Pompous asses like Lemon do not work either. Some wanna tell CNN?
