Arizona State Senator tells girls uncomfortable showering with biological males to ‘get a shower curtain’
Avideo recently surfaced of Arizona State Sen. Christine Marsh (D-Phoenix) recommending the legislature deal with girls who are uncomfortable showering alongside boys in school locker rooms by simply passing a bill requiring shower curtains.
The video, filmed in February 2023, was taken as Marsh voted against a bill that would have required schools to provide “reasonable” accommodations in showers or bathrooms for cross-dressing or transvestite boys so that they don’t infringe on the privacy of other students.
Marsh’s comments have drawn criticism as some point out that a shower curtain would likely not be sufficient for young girls uncomfortable with the prospect of biological males in their locker rooms.
Kevin McCarthy And Matt Gaetz Embarrass Us All
Oof! What a kerfuffle! Florida Representative Matt Gaetz has threatened to file a motion to vacate against Speaker Kevin McCarthy. Some Republicans want to expel Matt Gaetz. All of this came to a puss-filled head last weekend during the negotiations to keep the government open this weekend. Those two cretins are an embarrassment to the idea of self-government. They are an embarrassment to Republicans. The only thing worse than being a Republican is being a Democrat. The Democrat Party is both evil and bat shit crazy.
Remember that Republicans hold a very narrow majority in the House. I am not a fan of Kevin McCarthy. At all. He’s a squish who rooms with Pollster Frank Luntz, who always gives bad advice to Republicans. I truly do get the “Never Kevin” types. At the end of 15 votes this Kevin as Speaker is what we have. Negotiating to pass the Continuing Resolution (CR) is a shitty work. Yes, all of the budget bills SHOULD have been ready, but they were not. So, McCarthy did the best he could with the CR. By the by, if you want to read it, it is right here. This new CR funds the government until right before Thanksgiving. You know what that means, don’t you? That means the government shutdown theatrics will be even more dramatic involving Thanksgiving and Christmas. A transgender military child won’t get her bottom surgery doll for Christmas because of the mean old Republicans.
Portland School Superintendent: The Real Problem Isn’t That There’s a Violently Insane Boy Dressing as a Girl and Beating the Hell Out of Girls, The Problem Is That Those “External to the Community” Noticed
The transgender girl-pummeller is the real victim here.
Sure, the superintendent admitted that the Hazelbrook Middle School boy wearing a girl’s crop top and long hair was in the wrong for beating up a girl, but the situation had gotten outsized only because parents had made a beating at school such a big deal.
Sniveled Superintendent Sue Reiki-Smith, “Because the video of the assault eventually went viral on social media… there were issues raised by the outside community, not internal to the district but external to the district… adults nationwide,” and this was a problem, she said, because they were “calling out the student’s gender … [and] that is the hate we’re dealing with right now.”
It takes a special kind of gall to attempt to divert attention away from the real victim of hate here — the girl — to mollify the trans mafia, and this effort was beyond heinous considering what she was trying to paper over.
The West Point conundrum: How do you fight for a country you’re taught to hate?
West Point has a storied place in American history. During the Revolution, Benedict Arnold tried to give the fort to the British. After the Revolution, it became America’s first military academy, graduating such luminaries as Ulysses S. Grant, Dwight Eisenhower, Generals Omar Bradley, Douglas MacArthur, and George S. Patton, and many other men who have shaped our nation. All the alumni were driven by patriotism even if, as with Robert E. Lee, that patriotism was misplaced. Now, though, West Point has a “minor” that is the essence of anti-patriotism. Welcome to West Point’s Diversity and Inclusion Studies Minor.
West Point describes its new minor this way:
Diversity and Inclusion Studies (DISM) is an interdisciplinary minor administered by the Department of Behavioral Sciences & Leadership that consists of humanities and social science courses. America is a multicultural polity and demands knowledgeable and pragmatic thinkers who understand the range of human experiences. The Diversity and Inclusion Studies Minor (DISM) exposes cadets to varied perspectives & methodologies for understanding and studying the humanities. By carefully drawing from existing courses in multiple departments, the DISM complements and enhances the core curriculum, academic majors, and several West Point Centers and committees. Moreover, the DISM at West Point offers cadets a framework for critically and creatively thinking about the broader impact of diversity and inclusion at the individual, organizational, societal, and/or global levels – providing them with knowledge and insights that can help prepare them to lead in today’s Army.
Here’s the Next Damn Way the Left Will Go After Your Car
Your car is killing the planet, you, and other living things in a brand new way that will surely give environmentalists yet another justification to try and eliminate personal car ownership.
This time, it’s your tires.
The Drive’s Lewin Day late last week reported on a number of studies showing that “tire emissions pose a threat to global health.”
There may even be “a whole host of toxic chemicals being shed from tires and brakes that have been largely ignored until now,” according to Yale Environment 360. One of those, known as 6PPD-q, is supposed to be “highly toxic to multiple fish, including coho salmon,” although the report doesn’t indicate whether that’s true in amounts actually found in the environment.
