Teaching us to Hate Guns and Despise Gun Owners

We all know how to sell something. We also know how to discredit an idea or action. All we have to do is ignore its benefits and inflate its costs. Are those lies exactly? A comedian can lie to us, but we don’t go to a comedy club to hear the truth. Here is how the mainstream media and anti-rights politicians teach us to hate guns and to despise gun owners.. and yes, they lie about it.

Tell half the truth about armed defense. The easiest way for the media and gun-prohibition-politicians to blame gun owners is to show us the harm that criminals do with guns and to ignore the lives saved when honest citizens use their firearms. The mainstream media tells us about the horrific murderer who used a gun. The news ignores the common events of armed defense that happen every day. It is hard to overstate this since the media bias isn’t a few percent, but over a thousand-fold. That level of distortion is commonly called a lie.

One common weakness of Americans is they tend to think others—people from other nations and cultures—are like them. They wear jeans, American athletic t-shirts, Nikes and watch American TV and movies. Surely they think like us, they share our beliefs?

Not even close.

We do share things in common with English-speaking countries like England, Canada and Australia. The English language—we have the world’s largest dictionary, expanding daily—ensures those commonalities and our general inventiveness and prosperity, yet we’re hardly in harmony. America has the only First Amendment and the only Second Amendment. Our English-speaking brethren have traditions—of sorts—of both, but non-Americans see them as little more than that, certainly not fundamental, unalienable, individual rights. I use “non-Americans” to denote not only foreigners, but ostensible Americans.

Saw this linked at The Other McCains site and just had to run with it

AH, Laura Loomer. I will say up front I am not too familiar with Loomer. But she seems to be perpetually aggrieved, offended, enraged, pissed off, and so on. In fact, I noted a while back that Loomer either likes being offended, or maybe she is just hoping Perpetual Rage Syndrome will make her some money. In fact, I believe it possible that she so loves OUTRAGEOUSLY OUTRAGEOUS OUTRAGE that she actually pisses in her own Cheerios each morning! Anyway, the Tweet above caused Loomer to , well, you know….

And Dana fired back at Loomer and her extra Cheerios

Go read more at Twitchy. Dana got on a roll, and exposed Loomer as a grifter, by the way, in Loomers Tweet above, she references a news story about DeSantis being all for Red Flag Laws. That is untrue, I found the news story, Loomer could not put the link in and, it does not say DeSantis was pushing for more such laws. DeSantis was remarking about laws already on the books that could have prevented Parkland.

OUCH! Facts! Guess Laura Loomer better stock up on Cheerios!

Democrat Rep. Steve Cohen, is a walking brain donor. Diogenes mocks his idiocy

RS- Truly, we are governed by the dumbest people, and I don’t mean that as a generic insult. I mean that in the most technical way possible. The United States government is populated and run by some of the least knowledgeable mediocrities on earth

On Tuesday, Cohen decided to go on a rant denouncing the “right-wing” Supreme Court for doing things like upholding the constitution and forcing the Biden administration to follow the law. In the midst of that, the congressman proclaimed that women and black people don’t have God-given rights.
