Those are my words, but Mike McDaniel8 seems to be thinking along the same lines

They’re afraid Israel fighting for its survival will cost Joe Muslim—Islamist, actually—votes in Michigan.  To preserve those vital Democrat/Socialist/Communist/Islamist (DSCI) votes, they’ve done three primary things: (1) Chuck Shumer is calling for the destruction of Israel’s government–in the midst of Israel’s war for survival.  (2) Joe’s handlers are building a port for Hamas, putting our troops and sailors in mortal danger. (3) Joe’s handlers have dropped EPA regulations that will force Americans into electric vehicles they don’t want and can’t afford, which will destroy the American automobile industry and economy.  I wonder if there are enough Islamist votes in Michigan to overwhelm the votes of destitute auto workers, their families and friends and Americans who used to work in every other industry that supplies auto makers?

Which brings me to that famous joke:  How many psychologists does it take to change a lightbulb?  Only one, but the lightbulb has to really want to change.

When pro-Hamas insurrectionists stormed Capitol Hill, Brant Rosen, described as “one of the demonstrators”, was quoted as falsely accusing Jews of genocide. He was later arrested.
In Chicago, where he claims to have co-founded the “first anti-Zionist temple”, he showed up at a rally urging, “stop the violence, and then, to work toward a true and lasting and just peace.”

‘Rabbi’ Brant Rosen, a co-founder of the pro-terrorist JVP Rabbinical Council (the misleadingly named Jewish Voice for Peace is neither Jewish nor peaceful) is a public face of the political campaign against Israel disguised as calls for “peace” and a “ceasefire”. The media describes him as a “rabbi” and as a “peace activist”. Much like JVP, he’s as much of one as the other.

“When I heard the initial reports of Hamas’ attacks on Israel this past Saturday, I will be completely honest – my first reaction was ‘good for them,’” Brant Rosen wrote in response to the Hamas attacks of October 7.

When Hamas terrorists burst into homes in Kibbutz Nahal Oz, massacring families and livestreaming the horrors on Facebook, Brant Rosen described it as “not the first time this community had experienced Palestinian armed resistance”.

This is Brant Rosen and the Jewish Voice for Peace’s idea of “Palestinian armed resistance”.

“A father huddles over a mortally injured girl lying in a pool of blood as his wife wails.”

In his column, published at the People’s Voice (formerly the Communist Party’s Daily Worker), he claimed that “this latest violence did not occur in a vacuum. It is but the latest manifestation of an injustice that Israel has been perpetrating against the Palestinian people for decades.”

A prepared homeowner versus a would-be burglar. MPD: Homeowner shoots at would-be burglar

Nutbush is a rural community in Haywood County, Tennessee, about 50 miles northeast of Memphis.

A Nutbush man scared off a would-be burglar with a warning shot early Thursday morning.

While Steve Huntley, 70, was fast asleep, an intruder made his way to the back door of his Nutbush home in an effort to get inside.

“And he was ‘bump, bump, bump,’ that’s what got my dogs stirred up,” Huntley said.

You can click thru for the details including the rise in crime in the area in which Mr. Huntley lives. He is prepared because his son died in a shooting a few years back, and he is determined to protect the rest of his family.

“He picked the wrong place to try and break into,” he said. “Because my motto is ‘if you come in here, you are going to meet your maker.’”

You’ll be denounced as an “election denier” if you dare suggest that Democrats are able to manufacture phony votes in order to “win” elections, but exactly what the hell is going on in Chicago?

The Chicago Board of Elections revealed on Saturday that more than 10,000 ballots hadn’t been included in previous vote totals by mistake, making unofficial counts lower than expected.
In a news release, a spokesperson for the CBOE explained that while adding up vote-by-mail ballots, he accidentally left out additional ballots that had been delivered by the U.S. Postal Service on Monday.
“I traded speed for accuracy in reporting out numbers this week as quickly as I could,” spokesperson Max Bever said in a statement, in part. “I truly regret this error on my part and for the confusion that it has caused the voters of Chicago.”
The 10,659 ballots in question were added to the unofficial vote count on Saturday, increasing the total of ballots cast in Chicago to 368,990. Voter turnout citywide was reported to be 24.44% out of 1,509,554 registered voters.
As of Saturday evening, the Cook County State’s Attorney’s race still had yet to be called, but judge Eileen O’Neill Burke’s lead over Clayton Harris III was narrowing slightly.

Oopsie! It was a mistake, an accident, an error!

Massachusets Democrat Gov. Maura Healey pretends to care about how the invasion at the Southern border is affecting states like hers but shrugs off questions about how to prevent illegal border crossers from raping, brutalizing, and killing Americans.

Cory Alvarez, a 26-year-old Haitian national who entered the U.S. illegally, was arrested this month after it was alleged he assaulted and raped a disabled teen at Rockland, Massachusetts migrant shelter.

Alvarez didn’t simply cross into the U.S. on his own accord. He took advantage of a taxpayer-funded flight from Haiti to New York City “as part of the Biden Administration’s illegal categorical parole program known as CHNV that ‘allows up to 30,000 Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans to fly into the U.S.’ each month,” House Republicans noted in a recent letter probing the illegal’s presence in the U.S.

Healey initially claimed Alvarez’s alleged actions were “horrible” and said her “thoughts are with the victim.” When asked this week by Boston 25 if she “can prevent this type of incident from happening again,” Healey’s reply drastically differed.

She did not call for pressure on the Biden administration to close the border or deport the millions of illegals who have entered the U.S. under his watch. Instead, Healey implied that rapes and other preventable violent crimes perpetrated by foreign criminals will simply happen “from time to time.”

“We have security and systems in place, we have vetting in place. It is unfortunate that, you know, from time to time, things will happen,” Healey said.

At the heart of everything from the debate over the Gaza War to DEI to toxic interpersonal relationships is a disastrous loop known as the “self-reinforcing victim/villain” cycle.

The self-reinforcing victim/villain cycle is a deceptively simple and incredibly destructive paradigm for any kind of relationship, national, communal or personal, in which one party constantly attacks the other while claiming that it is the victim fighting against oppression.

The paradigm is guided by the idea that there is a permanently fixed victim and villain, that the victim is constantly suffering attacks from the villain and that anything the victim does is justified because he or she has no agency except to resist the assaults of the villain.

Democracy is “on the line” this November? Well, it best be highlighted that Biden and ilk are out to proscribe choices you make in your life, including what car you want to purchase.

Because, you know, modernity is killing Mother Gaia.

The Biden administration finalized its crackdown on gas cars Wednesday, with the Environmental Protection Agency announcing drastic climate regulations meant to ensure more than two-thirds of passenger cars and light trucks sold by 2032 are electric or hybrid vehicles.

The EPA rule imposes strict limits on tailpipe pollution, limits the agency says can be met if 56% of new vehicles sold in the US are electric by eight years from now, along with 13% that are plug-in hybrids or other partially electric cars.

Look at those numbers again … of new vehicles sold eight years from now, regular gas cars are to make up only 31% of total sales. 31%. When EV sales today are only 7.9% and consumer support is so low that auto manufacturers are scaling back production?

Wait, what? Biden and the watermelons of the EPA don’t explain how it is possible to turn around consumer preference from 8% of the market to 61% in eight short years. But we can guess.

American drivers simply aren’t embracing EVs because they know these vehicles have shorter driving ranges and longer refueling times. Not to mention that they’re significantly more expensive. (snip)

Taxpayers not only pay with more expensive cars, they have to subsidize new production facilities.

In Michigan, lawmakers have already promised $200 million dollars of taxpayer money — and that’s just for one Ford battery plant in Marshall. (snip)

This regulatory overreach is just one prong of the administration’s multi-agency assault on consumer freedom.

Just the latest Statist intrusion into our lives. Remember kids, when the Left screams democracy, they DO NOT mean what they want us to think they mean.
