There is a very fact we all need to accept. An inescapable fact. The fact is that Mike Pence is about selling books right now. And his remarks about Trump, or Jan. 6 are about selling books.

Former Vice President Mike Pence, in Chicago on Monday, threw some jabs at former President Donald Trump — a potential 2024 rival — and said he should apologize for meeting with a white nationalist and antisemite.

“President Trump was wrong to give a white nationalist, an antisemite and a Holocaust denier, a seat at the table and I think he should apologize for it,” Pence told NewsNation on Monday.

The reference was to Trump’s dinner at his Mar-a-Largo estate in Florida with the rapper formerly known as Kanye West and Nick Fuentes, the west suburban Chicagoan who is building a movement around his antisemitic and white supremacist views.

Pence, at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, was asked by Ivo Daalder, the group’s president, if he would back Trump — who already declared his 2024 bid — should he become the GOP nominee. Pence said there were “better people” for the job.

Frankly, of utmost importance is NOT electing President Mumbles again, or another Democrat that will continue degrading and destroying our nation at every turn. THAT should be a bigger priority than selling books, or getting positive media attention.

I do not fault Pence for saying Trump should not have had dinner with Nick Fuentes. If I were Trump, frankly, I would have met Fuentes at the gate and told him to leave, and take Kanye with him. But Pence is selling a book, and thinking of launching a presidential run, that will fail. And to be honest, Pence jumping aboard the “Jan 6 was the worst thing ever!” train by playing along with the left and blaming Trump for Jan 6 is just as sickening, if not more.

Yes! Trump was stupid to have any contact with Fuentes. Yes, Trump can be a jerk, and uncouth, and send mean tweets. But, you know what else he ~~can do~~ did for four years? He put the country first! He did great things for the country! Mike Pence know that, and he should ignore the media clap trap and say so! This election in two years is about returning to policies that are pro-America, and pro-Americans, all Americans.

So, spare us your gum flapping, book hawking, and fake outrage Mr. Pence. We have had quite enough of the the left’s fake narrative, and enough of politicians who join the left in spreading it. Like I stated, we KNOW what Trump did that helped the country, and we also KNOW what Team Biden has done TO the country. All Republicans should conduct themselves accordingly. This next election is not about egos, selling books, or being hired as a political analyst, and posturing, or anything except doing what is best for the country.

We know what Trump did we know what Biden has done. If you love this country, it should be VERY EASY to pick a side!

The are many, but the impacts on agriculture will kill people, and the impact on metallurgy will kill economies.

“No one is making nitrogen-based fertilizer in Europe anymore. No one is smelting aluminum anymore. A lot of the steel foundries are shutting down.”

Modern agriculture is dependent on nitrogen fertilizer. Aluminum is an energy expensive business, as is producing steel.

I ponder how bad this will get, and not just for Germany. This “green” boondoggle will be very very hard for so many millions across the globe. All to pad the pockets of many who, already have damn big pockets. And, to appease climate fanatics of course.

The US will back a proposal to phase down all fossil fuels at the UN climate conference as long as it focuses on projects with unchecked emissions, climate envoy John Kerry said Wednesday.

That gives another boost to a call by India for countries at the conference to commit to phasing down all fossil fuels — going beyond last year’s pledge that focused solely on coal. On Tuesday, the European Union also said it would join the UK and small island nations in backing India’s proposal, adding pressure to the Egyptian COP27 presidency to include the wording in a drafted agreement that could be unveiled late Wednesday.

“It has to be unabated oil and gas,” Kerry, the US special presidential envoy for climate, said in an interview at the summit in Sharm El-Sheikh. “Phase down, unabated, over time. The time is a question, but ‘phase down’ is the language we supported.”

Of course the consequences do not matter, because John Kerry says so. But why should we trust him? What makes him an expert? HMMMMMM

Jews, Muslims, Christians, Hindus and Buddhists from Israel, Egypt, the US, India, Spain and the UK plan to gather Sunday around the world to call on global leaders to act for “climate repentance” and to implement ten climate principles.

Activists smash tablets atop ‘Mount Sinai’ to launch faith-based climate push

An initiative to mobilize faith leaders worldwide to push governments to do more about climate change kicked off Sunday morning with an Israeli environmental activist smashing mock tablets of stone atop an Egyptian peak believed by many to be Mount Sinai, to symbolize the world’s failure to protect the planet.

The idea was hatched in the run up to the United Nations COP27 climate conference taking place in the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, by solar energy entrepreneur Yosef Abramowitz and David Miron Wapner, who chairs the Jerusalem-based Interfaith Center for Sustainable Development.

The Sinai Climate Partnership, symbolically launched at the ceremony, brings together the Interfaith Center for Sustainable Development, the Elijah Interfaith Institute, the Peace Department, the United Nations Faith for Earth Initiative, Abramowitz’s Gigawatt Global, and the Israeli environmental advocacy organization, Adam Teva V’Din.

Climate hysteria is not just a political ideology; it is a religion, intended to replace Christianity but based upon primitive religions of the ancient weather-worshiping past. Our new priesthood has confirmed this by gathering in Sinai to receive the Climate Justice Ten Commandments:

Some 40,000 attendees have flocked to the Sinai Desert including over 100 world leaders as well as leaders in business and other sectors. Christian, Muslim, Jewish, and other religious figures will participate in a UN conference on climate change that is taking place this week and next. In conjunction with the UN event, a group of faith leaders is taking an alternative approach, seeking a faith-based solution to the ecological crisis by promoting the “Ten Principles for Climate Justice” in a global initiative.

This initiative is the handiwork of the Interfaith Center for Sustainable Development, the apparent purpose of which is to subordinate other religions to the climate cult of our ruling class.

According to the Interfaith Center, the location of COP27 is especially meaningful because the Sinai Desert is “a place of revelation in the collective consciousness of Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and others. It is a site for turning to God and receiving God’s message,” as they explained in a press release.

On Sunday, the organization will hold a “Climate Repentance Ceremonies” and “put forth a prophetic interreligious call to action.”

Sounds, and smells like, excuse the French, Bullshit! And y’all know what you can do with it

That’s Joe Biden’s closing message for 2022. “We’re going to be shutting these [coal] plants down all across America and having wind and solar,” Biden told a crowd in deep blue California on Friday, arguing that it was “cheaper” to generate electricity from wind and solar

Is it? In California, which not only leads the nation in “clean energy” production but is leading the rest of us into rolling blackouts, residents pay 24.62 cents per kilowatt-hour for energy, around double the national average. There are only three other states where residents fork 20 or more cents over, the isolated Hawaii and Alaska and the frack-banning New York. The price of a gallon of gas in California is around two dollars over the national average, at $5.458. In Texas, it’s $3.173.

The president also forgot to mention that affordable natural gas, propelled by technological efficiencies like fracking, is as much a reason for the struggles of coal.

Go read it all. David Harsanyi does a great job of pulling back the curtain on the “clean energy scam” which will gut this nation, lead to horrors we do not wish to imagine, but it will make some very powerful fools happy, and richer so, if people starve or freeze, oh well. United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres issued a dire warning to leaders from 40 nations gathered in Berlin to discuss climate change response measures as part of the Petersberg Climate Dialogue.

“Half of humanity is in the danger zone from floods, droughts, extreme storms and wildfires. No nation is immune. Yet we continue to feed our fossil fuel addiction,” Guterres said in a video message to the assembled leaders on Monday.

“What troubles me most is that, in facing this global crisis, we are failing to work together as a multilateral community. Nations continue to play the blame game instead of taking responsibility for our collective future. We cannot continue this way,” Guterres said.

Climate Change Diplomacy Has an Authoritarianism Problem

Climate change is here to stay: heat waves, flooding, and wildfires have become noticeably more frequent and severe. After years of inaction and despite decades of advanced notice by scientists, there is no longer a possibility of preventing additional changes from occurring. Scientists predict that enough greenhouse gases are already trapped in the Earth’s atmosphere to guarantee that the impacts of climate change will continue to worsen over the coming decades. When international climate negotiators gather for their next summit in Egypt in November, the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27), they will try to avert the most catastrophic scenarios and mobilize enough resources to help vulnerable populations adapt to the already inevitable impacts. Achieving these worthy goals, already behind schedule, will require unprecedented global cooperation in the near term.

Democratic and authoritarian regimes alike have much at stake and have participated actively in international climate negotiations. But it is becoming increasingly clear that authoritarian regimes are using their seat at the table to greenwash their reputational standing in the global community, potentially undermining the climate change commitments that will be announced at COP27.

Huh. That’s an interesting way to put it. Because the whole scam is based on authoritarianism. One simple definition says “the enforcement or advocacy of strict obedience to authority at the expense of personal freedom.” This is by a centralized government, and requires the suppression of Wrongthink and forcing citizens to do what they’re told. Column: A $2-million ‘bike lane to nowhere’ symbolizes L.A.’s outrageous dysfunction

On a short stretch of Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood is a sidewalk cutout that was billed as a bike lane.

A short half-block long, it took about 18 months to complete and cost roughly $2 million, and yet it is not marked as a bike lane and does not connect to one.

“It’s a bike lane to nowhere,” said Stephen Burn, general manager of building services at the Los Angeles LGBT Center, which was required to complete and pay for the project as a condition of approval.

Burn apologized for calling it a stupid waste of time and money that delayed the opening of badly needed supportive housing and social services, but no apology was necessary. He said he honestly wanted to pull his hair out at times when dealing with various government agencies, and after he shared the details, I wanted to pull my hair out. (snip)

Burn and I paced off the supposed bike lane, which is about 150 feet long, starting mid-block and ending at McCadden Place. There’s no bikeway just east of there, outside a 7-Eleven strip mall, and no bike lane just west of there, where there’s a pawn shop and a doughnut shop.

I always have liked Stephen Moore, he is correct on economic points, and always offers great defenses for American capitalism. His latest piece points out how awful Team Biden has been for our economy. So awful, in fact that any honest person must ponder if it is deliberate and designed to hurt the nation.

Biden’s Destroying The Economy: Is It Intentional?

Everywhere I go, people are mystified about President Joe Biden’s economic agenda. So few of the policies comport with basic common sense that I’m asked the same question over and over: Is Biden intentionally trying to take a wrecking ball to the economy?
Is this all part of some diabolical plan, the “great reset,” to end our system of free market capitalism and replace it with some form of big government socialism?

Biden keeps saying that he wants to be a historic president who will “transition” the country into a new worker’s paradise where no one uses fossil fuels or electricity or cars and equality is paramount, ahead of growth and prosperity. Is he taking us there with no regard for the collateral damage to America?

My belief is that, no, I don’t think this is an intentional, nefarious Dr. Evil-type plot.
But if this were a scheme to burn down the village in order to rebuild it, Biden and his administration are doing a great job of it.

I would counter Moore by saying I believe he is correct that the president is not “deliberately” doing this. Of course, beyond picking an ice cream flavor, and being inappropriate with children, Biden often does not seem to know where he is, so, trashing our economy, and our nation is likely beyond his skill set. But his administration? That, I believe is a very different story. It is filled with Marxists, Leftists, radicals, social justice agitators, race pimps, and idealistic idiots who still think the various forms of Marxism have just not been done “correctly”.

Are they the ones really running the show? Do they hate America? Do they personally stand to gain by wrecking out nation? If you answered yes, then Ding! Ding! Ding! Go pick your prize!

Let us look at what Moore points out as ways that a president, or a group of powerful people intent on destroying America WOULD go about that mission.

No. 1: Dismantle the nation’s energy supply
We get 70 percent of our energy from fossil fuels. Biden has declared war on American oil and gas, making us more dependent on our enemies for our basic energy needs.

No. 2: Don’t enforce the border
Biden is letting hundreds of thousands of potential criminals, terrorists, welfare recipients, and enemies of the United States into our country through a porous southern border with Mexico. Immigration is good, but it must be orderly and regulated.

No. 3: Devalue the nation’s currency through inflation
Inflation is up nearly 9 percent since Biden came into office. Inflation is a means to erode the value of a currency.

No. 4: Destroy the nation’s finances by running up the debt by multiple trillions of dollars
No president in modern times has so recklessly pushed our nation into debt as rapidly as Biden through his $4 trillion in spending paid for with red ink.

No. 5: Divide rather than unite the nation
Rich versus poor, black versus white, gay versus straight, rural versus urban. Biden promised unity. Instead, he pits groups against each other. This is the identity politics of the Left that is the opposite of “e pluribus unum.”

No. 6: Dumb down and indoctrinate our children with anti-American propaganda in the schools and media
And allowing teachers unions and left-wing activists to take over the curriculum with anti-American propaganda. It is the opposite of nurturing patriotism and love of country.

No. 7: Decriminalize a lot
Let criminals onto the streets. End bail. Empty the prisons. Let minor crimes go unpunished. Biden’s policies favor criminals over victims. It’s a scene out of a Batman movie.
Are these policies intentional or simply completely misguided? I don’t know. But does it matter? Either way, our country is in grave peril.

See a pattern there? I understand that no one wants to believe this is deliberate. But no husband want to believe his wife is cheating on him, even when he comes home to see her playing pony rides with the pool boy either. Despite his broken heart, he should contact a good divorce lawyer ASAP! Our lawyer? The mid-term elections! The retainer? Vote Democrats OUT! And, yeah, get a new pool boy!
