Ah, y’all know there is a reason I call these folks the CULT of Climate Catastrophe Here is a great example

Jews, Muslims, Christians, Hindus and Buddhists from Israel, Egypt, the US, India, Spain and the UK plan to gather Sunday around the world to call on global leaders to act for “climate repentance” and to implement ten climate principles.

The events — planned to take place in Jerusalem, London, the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh and other locations — are timed to coincide with the United Nations COP27 climate conference currently being held in Egypt, which ends on November 18.

Wait, there is more. Here their Ten Principles of Climate Repentance

The “Ten Principles for Climate Repentance” cited by the organizers are:

  1. We are stewards of this world
  2. Creation manifests divinity
  3. Everything in life is interconnected
  4. Do no harm
  5. Look after tomorrow
  6. Rise above ego for our world
  7. Change our inner climate
  8. Repent and return
  9. Every action matters
  10. Use mind, open heart

Activists smash tablets atop ‘Mount Sinai’ to launch faith-based climate push

An initiative to mobilize faith leaders worldwide to push governments to do more about climate change kicked off Sunday morning with an Israeli environmental activist smashing mock tablets of stone atop an Egyptian peak believed by many to be Mount Sinai, to symbolize the world’s failure to protect the planet.

The idea was hatched in the run up to the United Nations COP27 climate conference taking place in the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, by solar energy entrepreneur Yosef Abramowitz and David Miron Wapner, who chairs the Jerusalem-based Interfaith Center for Sustainable Development.

The Sinai Climate Partnership, symbolically launched at the ceremony, brings together the Interfaith Center for Sustainable Development, the Elijah Interfaith Institute, the Peace Department, the United Nations Faith for Earth Initiative, Abramowitz’s Gigawatt Global, and the Israeli environmental advocacy organization, Adam Teva V’Din.

Climate hysteria is not just a political ideology; it is a religion, intended to replace Christianity but based upon primitive religions of the ancient weather-worshiping past. Our new priesthood has confirmed this by gathering in Sinai to receive the Climate Justice Ten Commandments:

Some 40,000 attendees have flocked to the Sinai Desert including over 100 world leaders as well as leaders in business and other sectors. Christian, Muslim, Jewish, and other religious figures will participate in a UN conference on climate change that is taking place this week and next. In conjunction with the UN event, a group of faith leaders is taking an alternative approach, seeking a faith-based solution to the ecological crisis by promoting the “Ten Principles for Climate Justice” in a global initiative.

This initiative is the handiwork of the Interfaith Center for Sustainable Development, the apparent purpose of which is to subordinate other religions to the climate cult of our ruling class.

According to the Interfaith Center, the location of COP27 is especially meaningful because the Sinai Desert is “a place of revelation in the collective consciousness of Christianity, Judaism, Islam, and others. It is a site for turning to God and receiving God’s message,” as they explained in a press release.

On Sunday, the organization will hold a “Climate Repentance Ceremonies” and “put forth a prophetic interreligious call to action.”

Sounds, and smells like, excuse the French, Bullshit! And y’all know what you can do with it

Failed comedian Kathy Griffin gets suspended by Twitter for impersonating a human being

I was not going to write anything about the unfunny, and ugly inside and out, Griffin because, I cannot remember the last time I gave the first damn about her. She is irrelevant frankly. But, she might serve as some clickbait because she is pretending the evil Elon Musk is being mean to her because she is breaking the rules of conduct on Twitter. The Other McCain, who I think has a crush on Griffin has more about her antics

Which comes first, the liberal politics or the envious bitterness?

It’s one of those chicken-or-the-egg questions of causality that psychologists should spend more time researching. It’s not that all liberal women are doomed to be lonely and unpopular spinsters, nor even that every cat lady is a Democratic voter. Yet there is an observable correlation of traits that cannot be dismissed as a random coincidence.

If a woman is both physically attractive and emotionally capable of forming durable relationships, it is likely that she will get married while still young, and remain married. Even if such a woman should experience a breakup — because anybody can be afflicted with bad luck — she should not have a problem finding another partner and, having learned the lessons from her earlier misfortune, will try to avoid whatever mistakes caused her previous breakup. A certain level of humility is required to be able to learn from your mistakes, however, and one notices that people who can’t ever seem to make relationships work are reluctant to admit that they are the problem. No, no, no — they’re always the victim, and somebody else is always to blame. And the tendency to seek scapegoats is, I would argue, more aligned with the liberal worldview.

Is Mr. McCain inferring that Griffin comes with LOTS of baggage? The proper response, I think, would be, OF COURSE she does! And at least one of those bags is labelled, PLEASE! Someone look at me! OR, as McCain puts it

She desperately wants to be relevant, see? And if that kind of relevance is all you’ve got to live for, your life must be pretty empty.

The View’s Sunny Hostin held a contentious tete-a-tete with co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin when she likened White, suburban, Republican-supporting female voters to “roaches” asking for pesticide.

The dust-up happened on Thursday as The View discussed whether Republicans have done a better job than Democrats of making their case to voters ahead of the midterm elections. Hostin got in on this by citing a poll and expressing her surprise that Republican efforts to limit abortion haven’t drawn greater opposition from female suburban voters.

Say hello to Jessica Schwinn, a candidate for school board in Minnesota’s Centennial School District in Anoka County, a suburb of Minneapolis. A few days before MLK Day this year, she uploaded a video to TikTok in which she “suggested white people who quote Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. are racist and accused them of advocating for white supremacy”:

Schwinn, is, apparently, at least in her mind, a boss of some sorts. Consider her words

The video, which is just over a minute long, opens with Schwinn saying, “Hey white people, yeah, you. You’re white.” . . .
In the TikTok video, Schwinn says to white people, “We need to have a little chat. So Monday there’s about to be a lot of wild tweets and wild posts quoting Dr. Martin Luther King and the people who are posting these are … mmm … not informed and racist and trying to uphold white supremacy.”
She encouraged others to join her in “calling out” other white people who quote King.
“So it is on us, as white people, to call out our cousins, fellow white people … call ’em out … call ’em out,” Schwinn says in the video.
She concludes the video by saying, “We [white people] cannot put this on people of color and black people. It’s not on them. It’s our turn. We need to take this on. We need to call out … call them out. And we’ll be busy on Monday but it’s what we need to do.”

SEE! Yes you you damned WHITE people. We are all raaaaacists now, and the only cure is to scolded by the MEGAKAREN! Because clearly she is WOKE!!! WOKE AS F…ING F!!! Oddly, I must say I have noticed how many “WOKE” people are completely unaware that no one has time or their WOKE, finger-pointing BS! As McCain notes

Do progressives not realize how tired people are of this stuff? Like, do you need a lecture about “white supremacy” from Jessica Schwinn (or anyone else, for that matter)? Where is the evidence that Ms. Schwinn is our moral superior in this regard? And while we’re at it, how much of a “white supremacy” problem is there in Anoka County, Minnesota?

Questions like this could be multiplied almost infinitely, whenever any white person appoints themselves as a sort of civil-rights hall monitor, claiming the authority to judge other white people on their alleged failings vis-à-vis racial equality. There is not, so far as I am aware, any widespread agreement on what credentials are required for this sort of Civil Rights Hall Monitor gig, but “progressives” generally think they’re so damned much better than the rest of us, and never expect to be asked to justify their standing as moral arbiters. Because, of course, if you object to their lectures, they regard your objections as proof that you are “racist and trying to uphold white supremacy.”

Ralph Fiennes is speaking out about the horrible abuse his friend JK Rowling has, and is receiving over her defense of gender sanity

Ralph Fiennes has mounted a vocal defence of Harry Potter author JK Rowling, saying that the “abuse directed at her is disgusting”.

In an interview with the New York Times, Fiennes discussed his role as Lord Voldemort in the Harry Potter films and reportedly “bristled” at the controversy surrounding the writer. Fiennes said: “JK Rowling has written these great books about empowerment, about young children finding themselves as human beings. It’s about how you become a better, stronger, more morally centered human being. The verbal abuse directed at her is disgusting, it’s appalling.”

He added: “I mean, I can understand a viewpoint that might be angry at what she says about women. But it’s not some obscene, uber-right-wing fascist. It’s just a woman saying, ‘I’m a woman and I feel I’m a woman and I want to be able to say that I’m a woman.’ And I understand where she’s coming from. Even though I’m not a woman.”

Rowling has been subject to threats on social media since publishing an essay on gender identity in 2020, which sparked furious rows over gender identity and trans rights. In August she tweeted a death threat she received after expressing concern over Salman Rushdie, after he had been attacked on stage.

In his New York Times interview, Fiennes also expressed his distaste for “cancel culture”, saying: “Righteous anger is righteous, but often it becomes kind of dumb because it can’t work its way through the grey areas. It has no nuance.”

Good for him.

Given that the bakery referred the couple to another baker who would — we assume; it isn’t specified in the article — bake the requested cake, there was no denial which would have prevented them from getting their ‘wedding’ cake. Rather, this was an attempt to force the Millers to go against their religious beliefs, or go bankrupt for holding them, because the homosexual activists want to use the power of government to compel compliance and obeisance to their lifestyles and belief. What part of live and let live do the activists not understand?

Oh, I’m sorry: it’s not that they don’t understand it, it’s that they feel that they have the power to force compliance, to force unquestioning acceptance, and they are damned well going to use it.

He would certainly amend his statement about only death and taxes being certain. Of course Franklin, if he were still around, would surely add that lies from Democrats are a certainty.

Biden, speaking during an interview on MSNBC’s “The Sunday Show,” said that the “soul of our country” is about the “idea that fairness, decency, honesty is baked in to the majority of the American people.”

  • “We’ve been here before,” Biden also said.
  • “We’re at one of those inflection points in history […] where we’ve reached a point where there has been such a division.”
  • “There’s nothing automatic about democracy,” he said.

Decency? Honesty? Is this the same president that not too long ago gave a scorched earth speech smearing anyone who voted for Trump, or had any questions about the 2020 election? Is this the same president who, along with every Democrat that gets within shouting range of a microphone accuses gun owners of loving guns more than they love kids? Is this the same man who repeatedly bashes Conservatives as liars, conspiracy kooks, and gun nuts, not to mention racists and radical?

Biden’s remarks come as the FBI and the Department of Justice have warned some states, particularly battlegrounds, that their election workers could face threats during the midterm election.

  • Biden attributed the threats to democracy at least in part to former President Trump, citing his remarks that there were “very fine people” on “both sides” of the violence in Charlottesville.”

And yes, perhaps the most egregious lie, that has been repeated over and again since the Charlottesville mess. The fact is, President Trump never said that of the White supremacists at Charlottesville. He condemned them in explicitly clear language. The “good” people he referenced were there over the issue of a monument to Robert E. Lee. Some good people did not want the monument moved. Some good people wanted it to be removed. Those were the folks referenced by President Trump as “good” people. And, Trump was correct to say that. Yet, President Biden, and Democrats continue to repeat the lie that Trump was calling White Supremacists good people.

What is they say about lies that are told enough? That is a perfect description of Democrats approach to lies. And never expect a Leftist, face it, that is what Democrats have largely become, to give the first damn about lying. They care only about winning, and power. I am certain Ben Franklin would agree!
