Good luck there Lard Boy. Go read the whole thing. And, also read this piece from the Federalist which calls out the useless Senator Chris Murphy and his Fake Outrage Syndrome

LORIE SHAULL / FLICKR/CC BY 2.0

Before we even knew how the killer of 19 children and two adults at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, had obtained his guns, Chris Murphy was engaging in his customary performative emotionalism on the Senate floor, literally begging Republicans to “compromise.”

Compromise on what exactly? Murphy has never once offered a single proposal that would have deterred any of these mass shooters. Literally minutes after his routine, Murphy was asked about the obvious mental illness prevalent among most of these shooters. “Spare me the bullsh-t about mental illness,” the Connecticut senator responded, “ripping” the GOP. “We don’t have any more mental illness than any other country in the world.” That’s how serious he is about compromise

Whether America is more prone to mental illness or not, these incidents are almost exclusively perpetrated by young men who have exhibited serious anti-social behavior. All of them break a slew of existing laws. All of them have either obtained guns illegally, or legally before having any criminal record. In many, if not most, cases, the shooter is already on the cops’ radar because he has threatened others or written insane, violent manifestos. In a study of mass shootings from 2008 to 2017, the Secret Service found that “100 percent of perpetrators showed concerning behaviors, and in 77 percent of shootings, at least one person – most often a peer – knew about their plan.”

Rather than focusing on these tangible entry points for potentially useful legislation, instead of proposing ideas on better identifying shooters before they act, instead of thinking about how schools could be structurally safer, instead of debating the efficacy of putting more cops in schools — and none of these are panaceas, mind you — Senate Democrats were busy dunking on Republicans for failing to support bills that have absolutely zero to do with mass shootings.

Go read it all, excellent piece which calls Sen. Murphy out for his fake outrage. Everyone knows Murphy wants an issue, not a solution.

And then, President Obama had to honor that noted Social Justice Icon George “Fentanyl” Floyd

Because, there is always time to smear police and play that Race Card right? Moonbattery has more!

Moonbats have reacted to the tragedy in Uvalde in characteristically appalling fashion, but none of them more disgustingly than the Moonbat Messiah himself. Barack Obama does not like it that grieving the senseless death of innocent children distracts the insufficiently devout from worshiping a violent career criminal who died of a fentanyl overdose while resisting arrest.

You stay classy there Barry

CNN “expert” speaks, idiocy ensues

0 0
Read Time:2 Minute, 14 Second

Via MRC TV, see if you can maybe make sense of this babbling idiots words

Later, speaking with former journalist, now hack Jake Tapper spoke with the “expert” and, oh boy………….

In the second half of the hour, Tapper went back to Kayyem to have her respond to AG Paxton’s desire to have an armed defense at schools. Tapper’s disgust with Paxton’s defense of gun rights and facts about the mentality of murders was noticeable as he read the statement:

Attorney General Paxton said moments ago, quote, “people that are shooting people that are killing kids, they’re not following murder laws. They’re not going to follow gun laws. I’d much rather have law-abiding citizens armed and trained so that they can respond when something like this happens because it’s not going to be the last time,” unquote. The victims, of course, 14 elementary school children and a teacher. What is your response to Attorney General Paxton?

It took her a bit but this was part of her response to having more armed people to prevent future attacks

“The second is the issue of arming teachers which is clearly going to be part of this political debate in the future,” she griped. And while citing no evidence, she went on to assert “clearly going to lead to more deaths rather than fewer, because of accidents or things getting elevated. That’s what most of the data shows.”

And throughout her rambling, Kayyem decried even being defensive with schools at all:

And that involves things that Paxton is bringing up. That he wants us not to talk about guns because he wants to talk about whatever is animating this person, but that’s so defensive. I mean, think about it as a parent, like, you’re just, you know, you’re just going to play defense all the time? Like cross your fingers that the teacher is armed? I mean, we don’t do that in any other situation.

Having better and more security, including having armed teachers, police, volunteers with law enforcement/military backgrounds and training makes sense frankly. Is it a deterrent? Of course, evil people almost exclusively choose soft targets, such as gun-free zones (where the vast majority of “mass shootings” have occurred.) That is not “defensive” it is pro-active. As are fewer and more secure entrances to schools. The idea, the goal, should be to make it as hard as possible to allow an evil person to even attempt a mass shooting. That includes, yes, the threat of deadly force against anyone who would attempt such an act.
