PENSACOLA, Fla. (WALA/Gray News) – A homeowner in Florida fired an AK-47-style gun at three invaders in self-defense, officials said.
Simmons said the suspects forced their way into the home. The homeowner had a handgun, but it was wrestled away by one of the suspects. The homeowner then ran to another room to grab another weapon.
“The homeowner went and got an AK-47-style gun and he started shooting for his own protection to get them out of his house and to protect himself,” Simmons said.
The three invaders are seen on video running away after the homeowner began shooting. Officials said the homeowner will face no penalties for acting in self-defense.
“So those of you who might ask the question, ‘Is the homeowner going to be charged for shooting at these people?’ Absolutely not. The homeowner is protecting himself and in Florida, in Escambia County, you can protect yourself,” Simmons said.

Victor David Hanson take a stab at defining exactly how Marxifornia’s Governor Newsom defines “freedom”
In a run-up to what is likely to be a 2024 presidential bid, California Governor Gavin Newsom hit upon the bizarre idea of boasting in commercials that California is America’s true “free” state.
Yet, with the most burdensome regulations and high tax rates, Newsom’s California is arguably the most unfree state in the union.
In return for these steep costs, the state’s public institutions, infrastructure, and services are among the country’s worst.
Go read it all. By all accounts Marxifornia has fallen, and Governor Hair Gel is still pushing policies that, well, will keep it down. Hanson has a very, very, very long list of things wrong with California. And Governor Backasswards wants to be president apparently. Yeah good luck with that. But, the idiocy of Newsom has even led him to go after Florida, a far more successful state, with far, far fewer taxes and regulations. He wants Floridians to leave and head to Marxifornia.
Let’s see, leave Florida, and Texas, and I suppose other free states and move to a state where everything is going to sh#&? And pay far, far, far more in taxes for all the failures of California? And live where massive regulations are regulated with MORE regulations?
Oh, and, Governor Newsom thinks he can defeat Florida Governor Ron DeSantis? If Newsom had a lick of sense, he would learn from Gov. DeSantis, and Gov. Noem of South Dakota, and Gov. Abbott of Texas and other governors who are actually helping their states.

A Pensacola homeowner will not be charged after firing an AK-47 style rifle at three men accused of home invasion.
“AK-47 style” because a real AK-47 would be fully automatic.
Police have identified two of the people they are connecting with the home invasion.
Shortly after the home invasion, a call came in about a man shot in the head. That man has not been identified as a suspect yet. Escambia County Sheriff Chip Simmons said his deputies went to interview him.
“The stories that he’s giving us…as to how he got shot in the head are inconsistent at best,” said Simmons. “In short, we don’t believe him. So what we’re looking at is to determine if this is the third person involved.”

Governor Douchebag, who looks like what would happen if a televangelist and a used car salesmen had a baby, has declared war on self-defense, and the firearms industryand gun owners. Ed might just have two words for The GQ wannabe
California Governor Gavin Newsom has signed a bill that will allow individuals, local governments and the state’s attorney general to sue gun manufacturers over crimes that are committed with their weapons.
The Firearm Industry Responsibility Act will also ban the manufacture or sale of guns that are “abnormally dangerous and likely to create an unreasonable risk of harm to public health and safety in California.”
In a tweet with a video announcing his signature, Gov. Newsom wrote that “irresponsible gun manufacturers and distributors can no longer hide from the mass destruction they have caused in California.”
The governor added that Assemblymember Phil Ting’s bill will allow “victims of gun violence can go to court and hold the makers of these deadly weapons accountable.”
So, it is a bill allowing junk, bull shit lawsuits and Newsome knows it. This will be his “issue” when he runs for president. Of course that horse he wants to ride in on is a broken down nag.You wanna know what type of leader Newsome is? So 3 people are in custody. Will they be released as soon as they are in front of a judge? (No bail. Keeping violent people in jail is unfair.)

Hijacking reports continue to outpace last year’s record-setting number, according to CPD data. Police recorded 806 cases during the first six months of the year, up from 760 during the period last year, 472 in the first half of 2020, and 251 as of July 1, 2019.

So, when asked about completely ineffective “red flag” laws, she ignores the question, and goes after “assault weapons” being available to whom? To criminals with histories of violent crime? No. To known gang members? No. NO, she says we have to “stop allowing these weapons to be available to civilians” Well, I do believe the leftist lie of “no one is coming for your guns” just got destroyed. HMMMMM She also went on to blabber about the “assault weapons ban“. Which outlawed features on certain guns, not the guns themselves. Manufacturers just took certain features like “pistol grips” off of the weapons. It banned certain “high-capacity” magazines, which, again does pretty much squat to stop bad guys. And it had ZERO impact on violent crimes. So, basically Kamala the Great just showed the left cares far more abut disarming citizens than criminals.

Of course this leads the reader to believe that a political leader getting assassinated in America is far more common than in Japan. However…..
The assassination of a leading politician in America would also be stunning, despite the prevalence of “gun violence,” for the simple reason that most “gun violence” is connected to drug gangs and other criminal activity involving what are politely called “inner city youth.” Americans are a well-armed people, but it is only a small fraction of the population that commits most of the violent crime, yet our media doesn’t want to provide the public an accurate understanding of crime, because that would not advance the desired political narrative. However, this NBC News story raises a question that it does not answer: If “gun violence” is so common in America, why aren’t our politicians getting gunned down on a regular basis? The main reason is that they aren’t hanging around drug dealers in downtown Baltimore or Detroit or other crime-plagued inner cities. Being safe from “gun violence” is mainly a matter of geography; if you avoid certain areas, you’re unlikely to get shot.
Again, those facts do NOT serve the “gun violence is uniquely American” narrative, so the media will not share such stats.

Maybe never it seems. I mean take their governor J. B. Pritzker for example. A mass shooting happens in his state, not to mention weekly blood baths between gang members every weekend in Chicago, and what does he do. Blames the NRA, and guns. Talk about stuck on Stoopit! So, when the NRA, and others, point out that Chicago Illinois, with their ultra draconian gun restrictions is a perfect example of the failure of gun control laws, what does Pritzker the genius do? He grabs his shovel, jumps into the Pit of Eternal Leftist Stupidity, and goes to digging!
Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker told the National Rifle Association to leave his state the “hell alone” in response to the group tweeting about mass shootings occurring in gun free zones
“And 100% of mass public shootings happen with guns,” the Illinois Democrat tweeted Tuesday night in response to data showing that “94% of mass public shootings occurred in gun-free zones.”
OK, Governor, and 100% of stabbings happen with knives. Yet Pritzker keeps blaming the tool, not the bad people misusing it. Clearly stating something so damn obvious Ray Charles can see it is not solving anything.
“Our Founders carried muskets, not assault weapons,” Pritzker said on Monday afternoon. “And I don’t think a single one of them would have said that you have a constitutional right to an assault weapon with a high capacity magazine, or that that is more important than the right of the people who attended this parade today to live.”
I doubt that, Pritzker likely has not spent much time studying the Founders, or firearms. The muskets in the colonies WERE weapons of war at the time Governor. And the Founders were explicitly clear that they wanted the people to be armed. Yet, Governor Pritzker is blaming “assault weapons” But, apparently, he forgot those are already banned!
Chicago has long been known as a city with some of the strictest gun laws, which stretches back to its ban on handguns in 1982. The Supreme Court struck down the ban in 2010, but the city has continued with other strict laws.
The city has a ban on “assault weapons,” defined as “any weapon that shoots… automatically, more than one shot, without manual reloading, by a single function of the trigger,” which includes automatic rifles and “ghost guns.” Large-capacity magazines are also banned in Cook County, which includes Chicago.
Additionally, leaders of Highland Park banned “assault rifles” in 2013, including AR15s and AK47s.
OUCH! The governor is so ignorant he does not realize he is calling for gun bans on guns that are already banned! I am sure, however, that Gov. Pritzker would tells us that background checks would have stopped…..OH, wait
The suspected Highland Park shooter, 21-year-old Robert “Bobby” E. Crimo III, was flagged by police as a “clear and present danger” in 2019 but was still able to pass four background checks between 2020 and 2021.
You know Governor sir, I might have some advice for you. Simple, straight forward advice on how NOT to go through life. Of course I do not know if you drink, but these other two…….
