Well, OK, to be entirely fair, Stacy McCain did NOT say that all analytics suck, but hinted that they are overused and I agree. Look at the most successful coaches They has systems, and stuck with them, drafting, signing, and trading for player they believed fit that system. And the Shula’s Knoll’s, Landry’s, Reeve’s, and some guy in New England all did that. Analytics has a place, but, it is given too much credit if you ask me. As to “kick the FG” ?. How about play action pass on 4th and 1 instead? Just sayin’……..
