From Bear Creek and his Hump Day News Post is a definite MUST READ! Full of great links, and the weekly smackdown for idiots!

How bad are the emissions from green activists private jets?  Pretty bad.

The Return of Trump.

Sanctuary Cities… aren’t.

I love a happy ending.

Gutfeld shuts down Geraldo.

Dana Pico exposes the lies that the Monkey Pox narrative is built on

American novelist and literary critic Mary McCarthy once said of playwright Lillian Hellman, “Every word she writes is a lie, including ‘and’ and ‘the’.” While not everything the newspaper I have frequently mocked as The Philadelphia Enquirer[1] publishes is a lie, enough of the truth is withheld or shaded to make much of what is published questionable, to say the least.

I guess that it shouldn’t be a surprise when the #woke[2] and the politically correct jump through circus hoops to avoid telling the truth. The truly sad thing about it is that anyone with eyes and ears can see that they’re jumping through those hoops.

I had ignored this story in The Philadelphia Inquirer the first time I saw it; the headline made it seem like just another one of the same, when the Inky complained that too few black residents were getting the COVID-19 vaccines, as though racism was the problem, when the vaccines were readily available in black neighborhoods, but the local population were simply not as enthusiastic about taking them. Now, its Monkeypox:

Legal Insurrection notes that Team Biden has found yet another way to screw taxpayers

Gee, maybe I should get federal student loans for law school.

President Joe Biden announced that he will cancel some federal student loans and extend the pandemic payment pause:

President Biden announced Wednesday that he will cancel $10,000 of federal student loan debt for certain borrowers making less than $125,000 per year, and up to $20,000 for Pell Grant recipients.

Mike McDaniel looks at the plot to erase America

I have, for years, been warning D/S/Cs intend to destroy our representative republic.  They intend to replace it with “our democracy.”  They have become, of late, far more strident and specific in their intentions.  I have also been speculating since I began the Second Civil War series, what would be the trigger(s) of such a hot conflict.  Surely among those triggers would be the abolition of the Constitution, for that is a necessity if D/S/Cs are to establish “our democracy.”  Let us, gentle readers, first define necessary terms:

Representative Republic: a form of government where citizens, not non-citizens, of voting age elect representatives who govern in their stead and only with their consent.  Government is limited, ultimate power resides in the people, and the people have rights which a political majority may not infringe or abolish.

Pirates Cove notes that the Climate Cultists want your furnace gone!

They need to mind their own f’ing business

Activists petition EPA to restrict the use of home and commercial furnaces by 2030

A coalition of 26 climate change, public health and environmental justice advocacy organizations formally petitioned the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on Tuesday to regulate air pollution produced by residential and commercial heating appliances, a move that would require homeowners and businesses to swap out heating and hot water furnaces.

Noting that oil and gas-fueled boilers that provide heating and hot water in homes, offices, schools and hospitals produce between 9% and 10% of U.S. greenhouse gas emissions, and release nitrogen oxides, which can cause respiratory problems, the coalition called for the agency to issue rules mandating emissions-free residential and commercial home heating appliances by the end of the decade.
