And it is about smearing the GOP, and about neutering the GOP, and, of course, it is about finally getting Trump. But……….
There is another aim here, and I believe it is the main goal. Folks, this is as much about, and likely more about preventing the next Trump. It is a shot across the bow for any truly Conservative candidate to consider. The left, to heck with calling them Democrats, that party is DEAD! They are leftists and the things they are doing to Trump are designed to scare the life out of any Republican thinking of running in 2024. The message is this “We will get you. We will destroy you, and everyone close to you, so do not even think of opposing our agenda.” Paging Gov. Ron DeSantis, because the left fears him, even more than Trump. DeSantis could win two elections, imagine eight years of Conservative leadership in the White House.
AGAIN, this is about preventing the next Trump
I know, sounds sinister, maybe like a plot for a political thriller, or a new movie. But this is very real. Donald Trump upset the left’s apple cart and the left has thrown everything at him, starting before he was ever elected. And, he opened a LOT of eyes. And he put the country’s interests first, and he pushed back. That must not be repeated.
Worse yet, the American people, many who did not care for Trump’s language saw not only how successful Trump was. They also are seeing how disastrous a Leftist president is. Just another reason to intimidate the next Republican president. Before they even decide to run in 2024. One Trump, exposed the failure of leftist policies, and the left will do anything it seems to stop the next Trump.
