Could It Happen Here? It Is Happening Here.
My field of study in graduate school was communism. As a fellow at the Russian Institute of Columbia’s School of International Affairs, I was, if I remember correctly, one of seven students in the entire university to major in what was known at the time as “Communist Affairs.”
I cite this in order to make this point: In my wildest dreams, I never imagined what I was studying would ever apply to the United States of America, the freest country in world history.
I assumed that communism was, for various reasons, something that happened elsewhere — most obviously, Russia, China, Vietnam, Cuba, Cambodia and North Korea.

Amanpour on PBS After Nashville Shooting: Gun Rights ‘Bizarre Indeed…A Cult Indeed’
Tax-funded PBS features the Amanpour & Co interview show, and the Tuesday edition featured a self-righteous gun-control rant by host Christiane Amanpour keyed to the murders at a Christian school in Nashville. Left unanswered: How would many of the proposed gun-control measures (like background checks) would have stopped this attack? Amanpour can’t blame the shooter. She has to blame the gun-rights lobby. Notice there’s not the slightest attempt to avoid editorializing.
How long will this remain the norm? How long before government steps in to actually save lives and anguish, like they have after such disasters in many other democratic nations? President Biden sounds exasperated.

Words Constituting Microaggressions Proliferate Explosively
Authoritarians require criminals to punish. Thought criminals are in short supply, liberal attempts to generate hatred toward preferred groups through outrageously unjust favoritism (e.g., Affirmative Action, reparations) having largely failed. So they resort to the concept of microaggressions, the list of which must constantly expand
As usual, universities are at the vanguard of moonbattery. As reported by the New York Post, taxpayer-supported Michigan State University has issued an Inclusive Guide listing words that have been deleted from the Newspeak Dictionary and therefore constitute microaggressions.
Many of the forbidden terms apply to the War on Christmas, which has expanded to Easter. They include: merry, Christmas trees, wreaths, gifts, reindeer, bunnies, eggs (in an Easter context), and chicks.

ELECTRIC CARS ARE BANKRUPTING THE AUTO INDUSTRY
Ford reported that it’s going to lose $3 billion on electric cars in 2023.
Unlike most automakers, Ford reports its electric vehicle numbers separately, but experts estimate that most car companies are losing similar amounts on the dead end business.
Ford’s investment in Rivian’s electric cars can’t be helping. Last year the startup electric pickup truck maker was spending $220,000 to make the electric vehicles that it sells for $81,000.

Day of Infamy – The Banana Republic Arrives in America
Today will be a day of infamy with the processing of the arrest of Donald J. Trump. For anyone planning on attending any rally, beware the setup. Remember J6. Don’t let it happen to you. They will be using geo location and hound you for years. The government wants a rumble.
A refresher that the FBI Undercovers are everywhere.
Keep your eye out for these Feds. Came to your school board meetings and will be in NYC tomorrow. The operative word now is “entrapment.”
