A terrible question to ask I know. Yet, every time anyone dares to call for better school security, the Cult of Gun Control lose their minds, and start spewing empty-headed, morally vacuous propaganda Watch Dana Loesch eviscerate their arguments

Conservatives, as opposed to the “never let a good crisis go to waste” crowd, have continually been forced into a defense position by leftists who have never had a problem standing on the corpses of children (or anyone else for that matter) to promote their agenda. They will never stop the insane “if it saves one life” trope in order to further the obvious end game of a disarmed citizenry. That is why the left can never acknowledge, and in fact will twist themselves into pretzels to discount, the many thousands of lives saved every year by and armed society. We hate having to trot out those arguments, as compelling and valid as we know them to be, every time this sort of tragedy occurs, but to remain silent in the face of the inevitable “we need to do something” non-logic that always follows, what else can we do?
Exactly how I feel
Very few leftist politicians actually believe that gun control prevents violent crimes. They have adopted their talking points in order to push an agenda that inevitably leads to authoritarian control over every aspect of your life, so arguing with them about the 2nd amendment or gun laws is a complete waste of time.
