We have enabled a culture of patricide.
In a recent appearance on CBS Mornings, Colin Kaepernick—who traded in a brief career as an NFL quarterback for what is, in the America of 2023, a still-more-lucrative opportunity to become a high-profile professional malcontent—was interviewed about the contents of his new graphic novel memoir. In it, and in the interview as well, he accused his adoptive parents, who are white, of racism. Their crime? Trying to protect him from himself and make sure he looked presentable.
When he, as a kid, is trying to emulate his role model, former NBA player Allen Iverson, and wants to get cornrows, his mother, in one panel in the graphic novel, says “He’s getting what rolls?” Kaepernick said in the interview that she told him, “Oh, your hair’s not professional. You look like a little thug.” A few decades later, he still hasn’t gotten over it. His mother’s comments are part of why he now wears his hair long, he explained.

Fat, Stupid, and Diverse
To lift a line from the immortal Dean Wormer: “Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life…” here amended to fat and stupid. Case in point, Alvin Bragg, now the Manhattan district attorney, and a guy who never met a calzone he didn’t eat. Calzones deserve a better fate.
Bragg — who badly wants to carve up Donald J. Trump, but won’t — was boosted into office in November 2021 in yet another spasm of virtue signaling by the Rotted Apple’s smart set, and whose campaign was lubed by dollars from George Soros to the aptly named “Color of Change PAC.”
Bragg is another swell diversity hire. They abound in America’s deteriorating cities. And not incidentally — in fact, importantly — he’s a Soros and establishment sock puppet. In going after Trump — and as of this writing, flailing conspicuously in his gambit — he’s paying his dues to the Man. Diversity hire’s only requirement is doing the Man’s bidding. Alvin is trying.

It’s time to go on the offensive about gun safety in schools
For a long time now, government schools have had a left-wing bent that’s becoming openly radical with each passing day. I see the results of that in the second-generation Indian American kids I know; they have grown up with a very negative view of America, her Constitution and Bill of Rights, while their immigrant parents are appreciative of America and her freedoms. This is the same for children of all races and ethnicities. It takes 13 years of non-stop anti-American indoctrination to produce a nation of self-hating citizens ashamed and embarrassed of their own country, and polls reflect that. (Colleges compound the problem by throwing another four years of illiberal anti-American indoctrination at young minds, but that’s a story for another day.)

This as it was announced yesterday that Air Conditioners were on the “hit list” and more Rules are on the way. So I thought I would check it out. No joke, he has. Here is the link.

And yet at a time when workplaces impose unconscious bias tests to target racial prejudice and other forms of discrimination, few corporations look for viewpoint discrimination. Some even mandate it in their HR procedures which systematically discriminate against conservatives.
Meanwhile the problem appears to have worsened over the last 4 years.
