The rhetoric and uproar over the beating death of Trye Nichols by five Black police officers in Memphis, Tennessee, demonstrates how badly the “conversation” over race has deteriorated. One would think that a crime involving Blacks killing another Black would lack a racial angle to exploit. Alas, in today’s race-obsessed universe that is never the case. Unable to help themselves, our nation’s top racialists, beginning with President Joe Biden, weighed in on the controversy hurling the standard epithets of “systemic racism” and “White supremacy.” The media, and others, were happy to join in.
With the Brown v. Board of Education decision in 1954 ending “separate but equal,” the Civil Rights legislation of the sixties, affirmative action, and “Great Society,” with its trillions of dollars of wealth transfers to Blacks, one might have considered that, nearly sixty years later, the nation would mend and race relations improve.

DeSantis says he’s on-board with open carry, but…
When the Florida legislature’s 2023 session officially gets underway on Tuesday, one of the first orders of business is expected to be the approval of permitless carry legislation. Both the House and Senate have been holding committee hearings on the legislation ahead of the official start of the session, and the House bill is already cleared for debate on the floor so it shouldn’t take long before the final votes are held.
While there’s not much doubt that permitless carry legislation will get to Gov. Ron DeSantis for his signature, there’s still some question about what the bill will actually look like in its final form. Many Second Amendment advocates, alongside Gun Owners of America, have objected to the fact that neither the House nor Senate bill allows for open carry, but over the weekend GOA’s Florida director managed to get the governor to endorse amending the bill and addressing the concerns of 2A activists… though there is a catch.

The Black Lives Matter race riots in New York City were among the worst in the country. Racist mobs injured hundreds of police officers, started fires, looted stores and vandalized parks and statues. At least 450 businesses, many of them small and family owned, were damaged or looted by the rioters who claimed to be angry over the drug overdose death of George Floyd: a vicious career criminal who had previously robbed a woman by putting a gun to her stomach.
While Black Lives Matter was swimming in hundreds of millions of dollars, funneled to it by radical nonprofits, major corporations and Hollywood celebrities, family businesses in New York City looted by those rioters were offered a maximum of $10,000 to rebuild their shattered lives.

“Weak men peddle false election lies while privately dismissing them as absurd. Weak men use fear and hate to motivate their followers,” he whined. “Weak men value money and notoriety over truth and decency. Tucker Carlson is a weak, weak man.”
